The Pentagon s pioneering journey to IT modernization. Through the Pentagon Renovation program, General Dynamics Information Technology partnered with Pentagon tenant organizations to migrate a complex mix of single-purpose IT systems to an interoperable, fully secure enterprise IT environment that meets each organization s unique mission and business needs. This huge, ten-year initiative involved large-scale program management supported by highly refined processes, keen mission understanding, close collaboration with multiple stakeholders and the integration of emerging technologies and services, such as Voice over IP (VoIP). The initiative installed a standard backbone serving all Pentagon offices. Cyber security was built in from start to finish. Consolidated data centers, using blade servers and virtualization, cut space and operating costs and met today s green standards. Standard cabling and a universal space plan made configuration changes fast, simple and less costly. Bringing cloud computing to the U.S. Marine Corps. We are designing, building and integrating the first enterprise IT center for the U.S. Marine Corps Enterprise IT Services (MCEITS) program. The state-ofthe-art center will host Marine Corps applications and support collaboration, shared enterprise services and access to trusted information on both the NIPRnet and SIPRnet. MCEITS will operate in an innovative, cloud computing environment that delivers IT as a service. Our MCEITS solution employs ITIL best practices, advanced virtualization and dynamic resource management.

7 Military Enterprise at Home and Abroad On the front lines of the netcentric U.S. Army. Through the Total Engineering and Integration Services (TEIS) contract, our experts help the U.S. Army continue its transformation to a network-centric, knowledge-based force. Working at posts worldwide, we provide IT and network engineering, architecture, integration and cyber security support. We operate and maintain Army network and security operations centers, keeping the lines of communications open for both classified and unclassified networks. We have established critical network perimeter defenses and conducted more than 500 successful certification and authentication assessments. Global life-cycle support in war and peace. As the prime contractor for the Intelligence Information, Command and Control Equipment and Enhancement (ICE2) program, we support the defense intelligence community, ensuring the operational readiness of equipment, systems and networks for all service branches. Through ICE2, we supported 25 military sites in the continental U.S. We engineered and built out the data center for the U.S. Central Command. In Afghanistan, we fielded 50 Marine Corps operations centers and led the deployment of biometric ID devices. For the Defense Intelligence Agency s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise (SITE) contract, our adaptive, timely solutions meet IT requirements for global intelligence and command and control assets. For the Combat Information Transport System (CITS) program, we have spearheaded the modernization of networks and cyber security at more than 75 Air Force bases. We are the prime integrator for the 2nd Generation Wireless LAN (2GWLAN), the Air Force s secure wireless enterprise network. Our support includes the consolidation of the Air National Guard s IT infrastructure into the Air Force enterprise, as well as the redesign and cyber security of the Air Force s unclassified and classified network operations and information assurance system, part of the Air Force network (AFNet) construct. We support Air Force voice switching systems and facilitate the transformation to converged communications. Enterprise data center for the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR). We built and operate the USAR s enterprise data center at Ft. Bragg, NC, which supports 50,000 users nationwide. Consolidating and virtualizing more than 1,800 servers from 137 USAR locations, the ITILbased data center provides enterprise IT services, such as Active Directory, and application hosting and management. Current operations include the enterprise service desk, technical support, desktop management and self-service user account management. The Pentagon Renovation establishes a secure enterprise IT environment serving Pentagon tenant organizations. Supporting legal immigration to the U.S. Through the Technology Operations & Maintenance Infrastructure Support (TOMIS) contract, we help further the mission of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Providing end-to-end IT O&M services, we support 24,000 federal and contractor employees at 280 USCIS locations across the U.S. and 32 foreign offices. Our ITIL-based services include network operations, enterprise help desk, hardware maintenance and security management. The company built and now manages the state-of-the-art TOMIS operations center in Colorado. The facility houses network and security operations centers and provides centralized, 24/7 service support for USCIS field offices. For Veterans Affairs (VA), we design and deploy FIPS-2 compliant Wi-Fi enterprise infrastructure at more than 230 VA offices, hospitals and facilities. Our company is a proven resource for large-scale electronic health record systems, based on our experience with military and federal civilian systems. Modernization initiatives for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). For the FAA Administrative Voice Enterprise Services (FAVES) program, we help the FAA migrate to a modern communications infrastructure based on VoIP and IP telephony, including enterprise SOC support. The program serves more than 64,000 users in more than 1,000 facilities and administrative offices. Through the SE2020 program, we support the FAA s transformation of the current National Airspace System to the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen). Advancing the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) mission. Working with the USCG Telecommunication and Information Systems Command (TISCOM), we support the design and implementation of all enterprise IT, Windows-based systems for the USCG, from standard desktop images to patch management systems. We helped develop the overall architecture design of both the classified and unclassified USCG Active Directory, configuring and deploying hundreds of servers throughout the USCG, from Europe to Guam, aboard cutters and on land.
