26 Project LENZING 67kT Expansion of fiber production capacity in Lenzing! Lenzing AG has expanded the group headquarters in Upper Austria. A total of 130 million euros were invested in the new plant, in which the lyocell fiber TENCEL is produced. In this plant 67,000 tons of lyocell fiber TENCEL are produced annually. With the new plant, Lenzing will be further developed as the main specialty location of the group. Scope of Services of the PMS: Planning and engineering of the EI&C equipment for automatic control of the fluidised bed boiler Software development of the entire plant incl. all plants next to it Control system incl. boiler safety systems with Siemens PCS7 in fail-safe construction using the advanced process library. 31 AREVA Power Engineering Project ALMA ALMA Atacama Large Millimetre Array Atacama large Millimetre Array, in short ALMA, is the international joint project of USA, Europe and Japan, who are building the world s most modern observatory with 64 mobile Parabol antennas, each with a diameter of 12 metres, placed on the Chajnantor plateau in the Chilean Atacama dessert. Scope of Services of the PMS: Electronic expansion of container systems Container systems consist of the system OSF (2 Container, each 40 feet high with low-voltage and battery room and 23kV middle tension room) and the system AOS (4 container, each 40 feet high with lowvoltage and battery room and three 23kV middle tension rooms) Installation of lightning, electrical outlet, network cable, fibre cables, air conditioners Cabling of plants potential balance Insertion and assembly of type-tested low-voltage switchgears and 23kV middle tension electric fields and a rectifier system Internal cabling between the low-voltage switchgears, middle tension switchgears, rectifier systems and the network cabinet Specialities: The low-voltage and middle tension plant sections operate on a redundant system basis, which ensures a security of supply as high as possible. For an emergency operation the plant will be further supplied with batteries, rectifier systems and DC-distribution. 31
