6 Architecture PBS CUSTOM PBS archive add on CUSTOM is a generic, ADK-based solution for the archiving, indexing and retrieval/display of application data of Z tables. Generic components include: 1 Generate archiving object ZAOBJ: - User-friendly customizing (table selection etc.) Z Z Z - Create archiving, deletion and sequential read programs 2 Create PBS index infrastructure: ADK - Define PBS indices (matching to retrieval requirements) - Generate index structures and indexing program PBS Index 3 Enable archive data retrieval: - Generate function module for archive data access (direct access) - Enable list display (similar to SE16) via PBS Archive Browser 6 PBS archive add on CUSTOM for SAP ERP
