Supervise and evaluate student interns placed in neighboring school districts.
2 Conduct research in the field for publication in refereed journals and presentations at conferences. Provide service to the university serving in various roles (eg. Committees, camps, etc.) Graduate Teaching Assistant Auburn University Kinesiology Department Duties: Part-time physical education teacher. Planned, structured, and taught a physical education program (15 hours a week) at a local youth development facility for grades 5 th -12 th Taught a variety of physical activity courses at Auburn University. These courses included jogging for fitness, tennis, and basketball Part-time Physical Education teacher. Taught K-6 th grade physical education (15 hours a week) at a local elementary school. This involved team teaching, individual teaching, and conducting fitness testing Associate Director/Division Chair The University of Alabama in Huntsville Health and Physical Education Department Duties: Teaching, employment of instructors, overall administration of the department, this includes budgeting, scheduling, marketing, and negotiating contracts, and curriculum development in the areas of Health, Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, and Nutrition. Overseeing and administrative staff of five, faculty of twenty, and working to ensure that all students receive a quality education through the program.
