4 high plains industrial park land development/municipal High Plains Industrial Park is a fully serviced 518 hectare industrial park consisting of commercial and industrial land uses. Focus role included site assessment, preparation of plans and attendance at meetings with Rocky View County staff to discuss development concepts and respond to the County s questions.
5 westmere land development/municipal Focus is contracted by Melcor Developments Ltd to provide project management, engineering design and construction management for Westmere Communities, a 20-plus phase community located in Chestermere, AB.
6 the hamptons land development/municipal The Hamptons includes a championship 18-hole golf course, clubhouse surrounded by a single family, multi-family, and commercial development. The golf course water hazards and store water for the golf course irrigation also function as storm water management facilities, all with zero store storm water discharge to downtown infrastructure.
7 garry station land development/municipal Focus provided engineering and construction support for the west lands in Garry Station to fast-track this development and meet market demand. First phase involved off-site infrastructure including a 600mm water feedermain, 8m Deep sanitary sewer extension to service the lands and a wet pond and a roundabout on the extension of Aquitania Boulevard.
8 united communities in okotoks land development/municipal United Communities has worked with Focus on projects in Okotoks over the last 10+ yrs. Crystalridge and Drake Landing are communities for homeowners of all lifestyles. The communities incorporate green public spaces and contribute to the towns pathway system. The water features include a large naturalized pond in Drake Landing and a recreational lake in Crystalridge.

10 highway 36 from brooks to castor transportation Focus was the Project Manager and Engineering Consultant for the design and construction phase for improvements. Project included 27km of highway improvements to Hwy 9 near Hanna and Hwy 872 near Coronation. Work included: > > Geometric Assessment > > Pavement Surfacing > > Pavement Failure Repairs > > Intersection Improvements > > Access Management > > Bridge Deck Repairs > > Guardrail & Signage > > Culvert & Drainage
11 flagstaff road program transportation Focus was retained by Flagstaff County to provide Engineering services for the 2010, 2011 & 2012 Road Programs. Focus conducted a complete geometric assessment of each roadway in order to incorporate current design standards to improve safety and functionality.
12 pipestone creek bonebed access transportation Focus completed topographic survey, modeling and project management for feasibility, design and construction of an environmentally sensitive access road, a 100T bridge and a pedestrian bridge crossing of Pipestone Creek, just outside of Grande Prairie. This project was necessary to provide access to one of the top five most significant dinosaur bonebeds ever discovered.
13 calgary west lrt extension transportation Focus was a key member for the construction of the West LRT extension. The West LRT connects the downtown business area to residential communities in Calgary s West end. 15 ogden point geomatics Focus provided survey work for the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority and Pacific Industrial Marine at Ogden Point. In order to accomodate larger vessels the dock facilities were extended with installation of a mooring dolphin that was precisely positioned for correct vessel mooring. This enables large vessels to tie-off to the dock at a better angle ensuring secure docking of the cruise ship.
16 Place Chaleureuse geomatics Focus provided planning, engineering and legal survey services to Mandalay Developments Ltd. for their Place Chaleureuse development in the Town of Beaumont, just outside of Edmonton, Alberta. Focus was responsible for planning, legal survey, approvals, neighbourhood drainage analysis, water network analysis and design and resident engineering of all required infrastructure, including two significant stormwater management facilities.
17 elk park ranch geomatics This unique development sits on 4,300 acres of rugged land in the Columbia Valley. 3,500 acres will be used to create 16 ranch properties that range in size from 40 to 400 acres. 200 acres have been earmarked for an assortment of single family lots and multi-family development. Focus provided regulatory and land surveying services to Schickedanz West for Elk Park Ranch near Radium, BC.
18 royal jubilee geomatics Focus was retained by Acciona-Lark to provide survey services for construction of the new expansion at Royal Jubilee Hospital. Focus provided building layout, quality control checks on construction and high-precision monitoring services of the floor slabs.
