Crews Educator Scholarships A one-time award of $1,000 sponsored by the GCPS Foundation to a student who has exhibited good character and leadership skills, and has maintained a 3.0 GPA and has a desire to enter the teaching profession. Evelyn Fairchild Jones, Brookwood High School University of Georgia Duncan Whitehead, Archer High School University of Georgia J. Alvin Wilbanks Educator Scholarships A one-time award of $2,500 sponsored by Peach State Federal Credit Union and the GCPS Foundation to a student who has exhibited good character and leadership skills, and has maintained a 3.0 GPA and has a desire to enter the teaching profession. Natalie Tontillo, North Gwinnett Hill High School University of Georgia Demi Pfeffer, Mill Creek High School University of Georgia Louise Radloff Scholarship A one-time award of $2000 sponsored by Peach State Federal Credit Union and the GCPS Foundation to a student exhibiting good character and having overcome a significant challenge to meet the requirements of graduation. Antonio Bailey, Norcross High School College of Wooster Lynh To Bui, Meadowcreek High School University of Georgia John A. Raghu Music Scholarship A one-time award of $1000 to a GSMST orchestra member with preference but not limited to bassist, who participates in community service and has a weighted GPA of 3.0 or better. Kevin Shelton, GSMST University of Georgia UES Robbie Susan Moore Scholarship A one-time $1,000 award for college-bound Gwinnett County Public School seniors who are planning to attend a 2-4 year college or university. Tejah Coffey, Shiloh High School Georgia State University Taylor Brooke Rudolph, Grayson High School Georgia Gwinnett College Reid Mullins Scholarship A one-time award presented to one or more deserving seniors in honor of Reid Mullins for his many years of service to Snellville Middle School and as Gwinnett s first middle school principal. Perrin Clavijo, Archer High School, $3,000 University of Georgia Bethany Bogan, South Gwinnett High School, $1,000 Georgia Southern 1 P a g e

3 Dr. Barbara Reed Science Scholarship A one-time award of $1000 to a graduating senior with an interest in a post-secondary science field with an emphasis placed on applicants interested in science education. Taylor Head, Grayson High School Saint Anselm College Jim Maran Scholarship for STEM Studies The Jim Maran Scholarship for STEM studies will be awarded to two Gwinnett County Public Schools high school seniors graduating with plans to enroll full-time in an under graduate course of study in science, technology, engineering, or math, $1,000. Holly Ann Gunder, Brookwood High School Boston University Christina Kim To, Grayson High School University of Georgia Allison Fisher, Norcross High School Carnegie Mellon University Dr. Linda Williams Educational Scholarship A one-time award in the amount of $500 for a graduating senior from Grayson, Maxwell, or Meadowcreek High School. Rachel Alisa Lott, Grayson High School Valdosta State University GCPS Foundation Mathematics Scholarship A one-time award of $1,000 to a GCPS graduating senior with financial need and an interest in a post-secondary mathematics related field. Archana Premkumar, GSMST University of Georgia David Agyeman, Mill Creek High School Kennesaw State University GCPS Foundation STEM Scholarship The one time award of $1,000 will be presented to a GCPS graduating senior with plans to enroll full-time in an undergraduate course of study in science, technology, engineering, or math. Zachary Adams, Peachtree Ridge High School University of Georgia Victor Barr, Duluth High School Georgia Institute of Technology Women On Board Scholarship New - Women On Board leadership scholarship for an outstanding young woman from Gwinnett who is a change agent and leader in her community. A one-time award of $2000 will be awarded on behalf of the Executive Women s Day Forum of the Greater Gwinnett Championship and the Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation. Simran Rajput, GSMST University of Georgia Hope McKenzie Scholarship, A onetime award of $1000 will be awarded to two students excelling in the arts at Grayson High School. The award is presented by the McKenzie family in memory of Hope McKenzie. Anna Sherlock, Grayson High School Savannah College of Art and Design Hannah Patillo, Grayson High School Georgia Gwinnett College 2 P a g e

4 Susan D. Headley Scholarship The Susan D. Headley Scholarship is a one-time award of $1000 to a student who exhibits good character, a love of learning, a desire to further his or her education, and is eligible for postsecondary education. Rachel Leigh Duffy, Archer High School University of Georgia The Brenden M. Elbaz Scholarship is a one-time award of $500 in Brenden s memory. The yearly scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior at Lanier High School. William Marvel, Lanier High School senior 2015 Gardner-Webb University GSMST Outstanding Senior STEM Scholarship The GCPS Foundation has established a new program to be offered each spring, the GSMST Outstanding Senior STEM Scholarship. The amount of the award for 2013 will be $1,000 awarded to one or more students. Kieanna Doctrine, GSMST University of Georgia JJ Campbell Memorial Scholarship A onetime award of $500 will be awarded to a student excelling at Lanier High School. The award is presented by the Campbell family in memory of JJ Campbell. I Mon Washington, Lanier High School University of Alabama Birmingham Judy Patterson Legacy Memorial Scholarship A one-time award of $1000 to a senior at ARCHER HS ONLY with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who exhibits good character and meets the requirements of graduation. The award can be applied to any form of post-secondary study that leads to employment. Candace Mauck, Archer High School Lee University Robert L. Campbell Memorial Scholarship A one-time award of $1,000 in honor of Robert L. Campbell for graduates of Phoenix High School. Troy Freeman, Phoenix High School - Georgia Military College Kurt Simpson Memorial Scholarship A onetime award of $2,000 will be awarded to a student excelling at Lanier High School. The award is presented by the Simpson family in memory of Kurt Simpson. Corey Dillard, Lanier High School Kennesaw State University Beth Rihm Memorial Scholarship Two $1,000 scholarships will be each year to students that have demonstrated a proficiency in a spoken foreign language and is seeking to deepen fluency through cultural emersion or 3 P a g e

5 extracurricular study. One scholarship for a recipient from Brookwood High School, the second open to applicants throughout the district. Chelsea Dinh, Brookwood High School - University of Georgia Kishan Pravin Chudasama, Duluth High School Georgia Institute of Technology GCPS Foundation Award for Excellence in Academics Awarded in the amount of $300 to the 20 valedictorian from each high school in Gwinnett County Public Schools. It is awarded to students who will attend a four-year college or university, have a 3.0 GPA or better, have financial need, have a concern for others as demonstrated by significant community service activities throughout high school. Preference will be given to students at Central Gwinnett HS.
