Government grants increased 4 percent compared to the prior year. Individual grants and sales include external research grants totalling SEK 108 million and income from the sale of materials, the leasing out of premises, etc. Commissions relate to income from commissioned research and education. The total cost amounts to SEK 434 million and increased with SEK 7 million or 2 percent compared to the prior year. Personnel costs, including salary of PhD students and educational grants is SEK 261 million. This is an increase of 5 percent compared to 2012. For the item, Shared university costs the School s portion of the university library is SEK 29 million and SEK 44 million is other shared costs. 14 15
