CONFERENCE CENTER (ROOM A, B, C, D) This versatile four-room space with floor to ceiling white boards can be combined or divided to meet the needs of multiple, concurrent events. For example, rooms A and B may be combined into one meeting space, while rooms C and D are used for two other events. When two or more of the rooms are combined, the audio, video and teleconferencing assets (see below) of each of the rooms are added together and become available for use throughout the combined space. In the above example, the four mics from room A are added to the four mics from room B for a total of eight mics usable in the combined space. Likewise, the combined A+B+C+D space combines four LCD screens. We can make use of two teleconference interfaces (e.g., one for speaking participants, one for listen-only). Each of the four rooms has the following audio-visual assets and capabilities: Audio Support Two to four microphones (wireless lavaliere, wireless handheld w/desktop stands, wireless tabletop omni mics or a combination of above mic types). Built-in high-quality ceiling speaker system with simple in-room volume control. Press Box/recording outputs available. Hardwired video outputs distributed throughout the room support the use of up to two LCD presentation monitors on rolling stands. Hardwired video inputs plus a wireless USB video input allow for up to three presentation sources (e.g., lap tops) to be easily connected to the LCD monitors. A 16 x 16 video router conveniently allows any presentation video source to be routed to any or all presentation LCD monitor(s) in the room. For example, a PowerPoint presentation can be displayed on one of the LCD screens, while a live website is shown on the other. Or one laptop presentation can be shown on both screens. Teleconference Support A teleconference system is integrated into the room s sound system, and all audio routing and mixing is handled automatically. A wall-mounted, dedicated-line telephone allows users to easily dial into a Teleconference bridge (or direct-dial a participant); calls are connected and disconnected from the system via the respective buttons next to the phone. 2
