Fuori Salone 2012 From the Acrilica to LEDs Lighting design involves building a container that can accommodate a particular light source, with the best combination of aesthetic and performance-related results. So the bulb or source, call it how you will, is something that has always been on the drawing board of lighting designers, next to their pencil, paper and, nowadays, computer. The evolution of bulbs has, we might say, actually been the cause of the very evolution of lighting design. Oluce has played a very important role in this specific story, one which the current exhibition intends to remember. Interni Legacy The Interni Event for 2012 for the FuoriSalone 2012, Interni will produce, during Milan Design Week (16-22 April 2012), the major Exhibition- Event Interni Legacy. Intends to remember. The theme of messages for the future approaches this perspective through installations created by a series of international designers that announce, also on a metaphorical and symbolic level, new possibilities, figures, typologies and solutions for the design of tomorrow. Domus Academy celebrates its first 30 years Over 40 Italian and foreign designers, all Domus Academy alumni, exhibit their work: 80 products produced by 50 great design companies are collected, for the first time, in this exhibition, open to the public at the Domus Academy Campus from April 18th to April 22nd during the week of the Salone del Mobile. Via Montenapoleone Milan From 16 to 22 April 2012 Malo invites you for a moment of confort and relax from the Fuorisalone Tufty-Too, a contemporary modular seating created by B&B Italia with the collaboration of Patricia Urquiola, fits perfectly in the Malo Flagship store. To give a touch of light, Sher by Paolo Imperatori: it offers the same specific attention to the quality of light, though using a contemporary material such as laser-cut aluminium sheet. Sher imposes its unprecedented spiral, becoming a very iconic item, produced by Oluce. Fashion and Design: two complementary worlds. This collaboration with B&B Italia - Maxalto and Oluce, is the opportunity to highlight the link between the two design companies and the specialist of cashmere Malo: their interest for artisanship. Where passion and intuition are an integral part of the design process, from the research of cashmere yarns and the study of new cuts to the choice of materials for developing new design concept.
