ENSTA ParisTech is a small structure (-800 students) that concentrâtes on the 3 final years of the 5-year Diplôme d'ingénieur (MSc. in Engineering) programme. ENSTA ParisTech, which is ranked in the top 10 out of more than 250 Graduate Schools of Engineering ("Grandes Ecoles") in France, is located since the summer 2012 in brand new buildings on the campus of Ecole Polytechnique south of Paris. The four main areas of specialization at ENSTA ParisTech are the following: - Transport - Energy & Environment - Engineering Mathematics & Engineering Physics - Industrial & Systems Engineering The éducation is very demanding; students are selected extremely carefully, and their overall level is very high. Our small size enables us to devote time to the students to help them accomplish their project. We offer a large variety of spécialisations, and we are able to design almost personalised solutions for each student. Our académie staff teachers and researchers supervise the students and help them make their choices to get the best out oftheir éducation at ENSTA ParisTech. International students at ENSTA ParisTech account for about 30 % ofall the students. They should have validated at least 3 vears of studies at their home university before the start of the courses at ENSTA ParisTech.. What are the deadlines for application? Courses at ENSTA ParisTech are composed of Science & Engineering, Languages & Culture and Economies & Management. In order to benefit the most from their expérience at ENSTA ParisTech, exchange students are strongly advised to follow the same curriculum as degree-seeking students. Minimum of crédits required: 25 ECTS crédits Der semester Science & Ensineerins courses 2ndyS3T Fait term: Students should choose a major (voie) when they apply. There is a choice between three majors and their variants: Mechanical & Chemical Systems Signal, Information & Systems Engineering Mathematics Each major has 3 variants. Discover them on www.ensta.fr/en. Spring term: Elective modules should be chosen. Some are dépendent and cannot be chosen separately. The research intemship (PRE) must be can-ied out in one ofensta ParisTech's laboratories The research internship is supervised by one ofensta ParisTech's permanent professors. Personalisation ofthe curriculum: combining modules from différent spécialisations Depending on their interests and their professional project, students are allowed to mix modules from différent spécialisations, while respecting the ABCD raie: the A module of one spécialisation can be replaced only by the A module ofanother spécialisation. Students can choose to study another foreign language, provided their level offrench is good enough. Culture courses have to be chosen among the courses attached to the year in which the students are registered (2 or 3rd). Economies & Manaeement Economies & Management courses have to be chosen among the courses attached to the year in which the students are registered (2 or 3rd).. What is the languaae of instruction? Courses are in French this is why we recommend to have a good command of French before arriving (minimum recommended levé) Bl French). Sport activities: not compulsory for exchange students but of course open to all! Student associations. French classes Intensive French classes are organized by ENSTA ParisTech during the summer.
