Departure to Tlatelolco, making a stop for a panoramic visit of the 3 Cultures Square, continue and visit the Guadalupe Shrine, where the virgin is venerated. Continue to Teotihuacan, where we can admire the most impressive archaeological zone of Mexico, the Sun Pyramid, (the big one), the Moon Pyramid, the Dead Avenue, and the Quetzalcoatl Temple. Visit a handicraft factory. Lunch. Return to hotel. Overnight. DAY 3 (Tuesday) MÉXICO City Tour and Anthropological Museum. Breakfast. CITY TOUR: Downtown, Cathedral, Government Palace with Diego Rivera s murals, Reforma Avenue, Chapultepec zone and visit the Anthropological Museum. Afternoon free. Overnight.
DAY 4 (Wednesday) MEXICO, D,F. - Querétaro - SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE Departure to Queretaro where we will visit the Aqueduct, the Ex-Cross Convent and Historic Downtown. Head to San Miguel de Allende, where many intellectuals and retired people live in. Visit: San Miguel s Parish with the Holy House Chapel, the Inquisitor House, the San Francisco Church and the Allende s house. You may enjoy a great variety of cafeterias and restaurants. Overnight. DAY 5 (Thursday)SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE - Dolores Hidalgo - GUANAJUATO Breakfast. Departure to Dolores Hidalgo, where in 1810, the father Don Miguel Hidalgo, began the Independence war and where Jose Alfredo Jimenez, one of the most famous musician composers, was born there. Continuing to Guanajuato, where year after year is home of the International Cervantino Festival. In the afternoon you will enjoy knowing this fabulous city, full of beautiful colonial alleys and plazas such as the University, the Juarez Theater, the Kiss Alley and the Diego Rivera s house. Its streets and subterranean avenues are unique in the country.
DAY 6 (Friday) GUANAJUATO ZACATECAS Breakfast. Departure to Zacatecas, a World Heritage Site. This beautiful colonial city built of "pink cantera has the most outstanding Mexican baroque style: the Cathedral. From "La Bufa" Hill you will be able to appreciate an interesting panoramic view of the city. We will descend in funicular and afterwards an educational visit at the mine of Eden. Optionally, by night, you may enjoy the "Callejoneada", a performance accompanied with a group of "Tambora" music. Overnight DAY 7 (Saturday) ZACATECAS - GUADALAJARA Breakfast. We will continue on to Guadalajara the capital of Jalisco state, where tequila and mariachi were born. Then visit Tlaquepaque town where the finest handcraft are made. Place of the Bustamante s Art Gallery. Possibility of tasting Mexican cuisine accompanied by a breathtaking ambiance with mariachi music at a traditional restaurant. Overnight. DAY 8 (Sunday) GUADALAJARA-TEQUILA Breakfast. We will visit the principal points of interest: Government Palace with splendid mural paintings of Orozco, Plaza Tapatia, Degollado Theater, Cathedral and the Rotonda of the Illustrate Men. Continuing to Tequila, a typical town where the main distilleries (Haciendas) of this famous liquor are located. We will know the agave fields, the jimador man and the tequila processes. Return to Guadalajara. Overnight.
DAY 09 (Monday) GUADALAJARA PUERTO VALLARTA Breakfast. Transfer from hotel to bus station in order to take the bus to Puerto Vallarta, a warm place, picturesque and full of history where you can enjoy relaxing beaches, worldclass restaurants, ecotourism and extreme adventures.
