Incoming Faxes Your incoming faxes will be delivered to the e-mail addresses registered under your account. The faxes are delivered as PDF attachments. Your incoming faxes can also be accessed via the PrestoFax web interface. Please refer to page 5 for instructions on accessing your incoming faxes via the web interface. Outgoing Faxes To send a fax from your e-mail client, simply send the e-mail to thefaxnumber@outboundfax.net. The fax number should be the 10 digit number (area code plus number) for faxes sent to numbers within the North American numbering plan. If you are sending a fax elsewhere internationally, the fax number should be 011 + country code + number (e.g. 011445561234). Your Fax Validation Code must be included somewhere in the Subject line. Also, you must send the message from one of the e-mail addresses registered for outbound fax delivery (please refer to page 8). The body of the e-mail and all attachments will be sent. Most common document formats are supported. If you want the first page of your fax to be your first attachment (e.g. a cover sheet that you created), please leave the body of your email completely blank. Fax Validation Code You can also send faxes from the PrestoFax web interface. Please refer to page 6 for instructions on sending faxes from the PrestoFax web interface. Page 3 of 12

Changing your Username, Password and Fax Validation Code and Adding or Changing Email Addresses for Inbound and Outbound Faxing When you initially login, you will see a list of incoming faxes that you have received. Click on the Setup tab at the top. Scroll down to the Login options section. Here you can change your password and the e-mail address which is used as your login username. Just click on the existing username (email address) or on the pencil icon to the right of it. You can add additional email addresses where you will receive incoming faxes by clicking on the + icon in the Inbound fax options section. Similarly, you can add additional email addresses from which faxes can be sent by clicking on the + icon in the Outbound fax options section. File Encryption If you choose to use the file encryption password option, you will be required to enter the file encryption password that you have specified in our web interface in order to open the PDF file when you receive an incoming fax. The PDF file/fax itself is 128 bit encrypted. You can also take advantage of the file encryption option for outgoing faxes. If you send a fax with a PDF attachment (either via email to fax or web to fax), you must encrypt that PDF with the same file encryption password that is used for incoming faxes. The system will decrypt the file so that it can then be converted to a faxable format (TIFF) and delivered to the recipient fax machine. The system will only decrypt PDF files, so do not attempt to send faxes with encrypted attachments that are not in PDF format. Page 9 of 12
Other Options There are a variety of other options that can be accessed by clicking on Setup on the left side and then selecting System settings. You can use the Outbound fax number drop-down menu to select which fax number will be displayed on your outbound faxes. You can also specify whether you want to receive incoming faxes in PDF or TIFF format. Page 10 of 12
