Employee Competency/Performance Assessment Department Position Summary: Performs non-licensed patient care and clerical duties.provides direct patient care under the direction of an RN, including activities of daily living, perform EKG, specimen collection including phlebotomy on all age groups. Serves as a unit clerk by answering the telephone, screening and verifying all visitors who enter in the unit, assembling charts for new patients, entering physician orders, entering consults and verifying consults, entering information into the hospital information system, activating the beeper system.
