PAUL F. MILLUS, ESQ. Paul Millus is Of Counsel to Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. and practices in the Litigation and Employment Law Departments located in both Meyer Suozzi s Garden City, Long Island and New York City Office. Mr. Millus has been involved in all aspects of state and federal litigation throughout his legal career handling a variety of litigated matters from inception, motion practice, trial and appeals. Mr. Millus has tried both jury and non-jury matters dealing with a wide range of issues from civil rights, commercial, constitutional, real estate, employment, tort and Surrogate s Court matters. If the matter needs to be tried before a judge or a jury in state or federal court, Mr. Millus stands ready to do so in almost any area of the law. Mr. Millus regularly provides advice to employers and employees concerning their rights and obligations in the workplace including consultation on employee handbooks, discrimination policies, FMLA, FLSA, employment contracts, wage and hour concerns and all manner of workplace issues. Mr. Millus began his litigation career as a former Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York from 1987 through 1989. There he worked with elite attorneys representing the U.S. Government in commercial matters; false claims act cases, civil forfeiture to name a few. He joined the firm of Snitow & Pauley in 1989 and became a partner in Snitow & Cunningham LLP in 1998 which became known as Snitow Kanfer Holtzer & Millus LLP. Mr. Millus has represented many municipalities on Long Island including the Towns of Brookhaven, Hempstead, and North Hempstead, the City of Long Beach, and the Counties of Nassau and Suffolk trying numerous cases in state and federal courts. He continued to successfully represent municipalities throughout Long Island as a partner in addition to expanding his private client base. Mr. Millus is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell which is the highest level of professional excellence and ethics and confirms that Mr. Millus is recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity in the practice of law. Mr. Millus has also been named as a "Super Lawyer" in the 2010 edition of "Super Lawyers" magazine in its Corporate Counsel Edition for Top Attorneys in Employment and Labor Law. Mr. Millus has lectured on cutting edge issues affecting the Bar focusing on employment law, federal practice, trial practice and civil rights law for the Nassau County Bar Association, Lorman Continuing Legal Education, the New York City Bar Association and Theodore Roosevelt American Inn of Court. HON. PETER B. SKELOS Judge Peter B. Skelos is a judge on the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department. He joined this division in May of 2004. He was reelected in 2012 and his current 14-year term as a Supreme Court justice expires on December 31, 2026. Judge Skelos practiced law in the municipal and private sections for 15 years before becoming a judge in 1995. He served on the New York State District Court of Nassau County from 1995 through 1998. In 1999, he became a State Supreme Court Justice on the 10 th Judicial District. From 2003 to 2004, he served on the Appellate Term for the 2 nd and 10 th Judicial Districts. He currently serves in the Appellate Division, Second Department. Judge Skelos received his B.A. degree from Emory University in 1997 and a J.D. Degree from Fordham University in 1980. HON. ANDREA PHOENIX Andrea Phoenix, is a Nassau County District Court Judge. She is also an Acting Nassau County Judge. Judge Phoenix was reelected to a second term in November 2012. She presides over a criminal part as well as the Nassau County Mental Health Court. Prior to taking the bench, Judge Phoenix was an attorney in private practice, she was as active member of the New York State Law Guardian Panel and concentrated in the area of Family Law. In 2002, Judge Lawrence Brennan sponsored her to become a member of the Theodore Roosevelt American Inn of Court. Judge Phoenix is currently active in the Inn and sits on its Executive Board. She is also involved in a host of other professional and community organizations. Notably, Judge Phoenix is a past president of the Nassau County Women s Bar Association and the Women s Bar Association of the State of New York, she is the first African American to hold both positions. She is currently the first African American President of the New York Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. 2

ELIZABETH S. KASE, ESQ. Elizabeth Kase is a distinguished graduate of Smith College and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She has dedicated her career to the practice of Criminal Law. She began as an Assistant District Attorney in New York County under legendary Robert M. Morgenthau, where she honed her investigatory and trial skills. She successfully prosecuted hundreds of cases pertaining to sex crimes, domestic violence, narcotics, cyber-crime and white-collar felonies. In 2004, Elizabeth became a partner at Kase & Druker, a premier boutique Long Island criminal defense firm where she represents clients in matters ranging from simple DWI and drug offenses, to complex white-collar felonies in state and federal court. Elizabeth also serves her community as the Village Justice in Baxter Estates, Port Washington. She is a frequent lecturer on topics relating to criminal law and adolescents and is also a commentator on radio and news programs. Elizabeth is a leader in many professional and community organizations including UJA- Federation and the North Shore Child and Family Guidance Center where she serves on the Board of Directors. In 2007, Elizabeth was named by the Long Island Business News as one of "40 Rising Stars Under 40" for her professional accomplishments and advocacy work. In 2013, she was named by the same organization as one of "50 Most Influential Women on Long Island." She is married to Hon. Craig M. Johnson (Ret.) and the mother of their three adorable children, Ben, Sam and Lucy. ASHLEIGH C. TELEVANDOS Ashleigh is a second year law student at Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. She graduated from St. John s University in 2009 with a degree in Legal Studies. Before attending law school, Ashleigh worked as a legal assistant to Michael A. Santucci and Roger Pierro, Jr., Esqs. At Touro, Ashleigh is a proud member of the Moot Court Honors Board and BLSA. 3

JOY GARY Joy Gary is a second-year law student at Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center from New Haven, CT. She graduated from Howard University Magna Cum Laude in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology. Over the past summer, Joy interned with the New York City Police Department Legal Bureau. At Touro, Joy serves as the Membership Coordinator of the Black Law Students Association. 964258 4

STEPHEN LARSEN, MA, CFCE Since completing his graduate work in Forensic Psychology Stephen Larsen served 10 years with the Suffolk County Probation Department. The majority of which, having have been assigned to their Sex Offender Supervision Unit. During his tenure he revised the County s sex offender conditions of probation to allow for the search and seizure of electronic devices. After identifying a need for computer forensics Stephen obtained enough funding and equipment to develop our nation s first Probation Digital & Multimedia Forensics Lab. Additionally, he authored the department s policy governing the use of Social Media and developed various curriculums to train staff on topics such as: Social Media Investigations, Search and Seizure of Electronic Media and Internet Investigations. Stephen is a partner at the County Wide Group, investigative firm. Working with Sal Marino, they employ a multi-faceted approach to investigations that utilizes best practices of High-Tech and Traditional investigative methods. 964429
