Largest solar installers in California The bar graph below shows the number of Reservation Review Request Dates (left axis) for the top 15 solar installers in California. The right axis of the graph indicates the market share for the installer indicated by the overlaid red line. As an example, Solar City is the largest installer in California with 3,462 RRRDs since 27. Their market share is 11.7% (3,462 out of the total 29,673 RRRDs). The Reservation Review Request Date (RRRD) indicates the date that paper copies of the Reservation Request Application and supporting documentation have been received and are under program administrator review (or the application was in suspended state, the applicant submitted new information and program administrator is review the reservation request documents). We have chosen to use the RRRD as our data point for two reasons 1) it provides us an up-to-date estimation since many current projects have not completed and 2) it effectively measures the ability of a solar installer to initially acquire the customers. 4 27-9 Top 15 Installers 14.% 35 3462 12.% 3 25 2 15 2481 1376 1.% 8.% 6.% 1 769 658 4.% 5 449 436 46 35 345 316 33 294 289 284 2.%.% Copyright 29 by Clean Energy Experts, LLC.
