Master s Degree Programme Information and Communications Engineering (ICE) This two-year Master s degree programme further develops the skills acquired in a Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Telematics or Informatics. It serves to provide an academic education and qualification for professional activities in the development and operation of modern information and communication technologies. Courses in this Master s degree programme are taught in English, and the student population is international. Special emphasis is placed on the graduates ability to contribute to solving technological problems in a purposeful, independent and responsible manner. In positions of leadership they are also competent at managing development teams and complex projects. On the one hand, graduates are endowed with know-how in a specialised area, and on the other hand, they have a broad and well-grounded understanding of basic principles in the field of Information and Communication Technology. University graduates can identify and comprehend new types of problems, are able to advance the concepts and methods of Information Technology, and can recognise technological paradigm shifts.
