Hyspin AWH Series High Quality Mineral Oils with a Viscosity Index Improver CASTROL HYSPIN AWH is a range of high quality mineral oils with a viscosity index improver, designed for operations over a wide temperature range with minimum variation in viscosity. They contain a balanced quantity of anti-wear, anti-oxidant, anti-foam and anticorrosion additives. CASTROL HYSPIN AWH fluids meet the needs of modern hydraulic equipment operating under severe service conditions, i.e. wide temperature range and high pressure. Having a fortified high viscosity index means the CASTROL HYSPIN AWH Series are ideal for use in hydraulic systems sensitive to variations in fluid viscosity due to extremes in operating temperature as well as offering a long service life under normal operating temperatures. s include plant and machine hydraulic systems, machine tools (CNC machines), certain gearboxes, bearing lubrication systems and many more applications requiring an oil with excellent anti-wear, anti-oxidant and viscous properties. CASTROL HYSPIN AWH is suitable for gear, vane and piston type hydraulic pumps, except those containing silver or cadmium. The recommended maximum bulk fluid temperature is approximately 95 0 C. However, continuous operation at this temperature may reduce the service life of the oil. Caution should also be exercised with the lighter grades. Hyspin AWS Series High Quality Mineral Oil Based Hydraulic Fluids Castrol Hyspin AWS is a range of high quality mineral oil based hydraulic fluids. Their natural properties are enhanced by the incorporation of anti-wear, antioxidation, anti-foam and anti-corrosion additives. Castrol Hyspin AWS fluids meet the needs of hydraulic equipment operating under medium to severe service conditions i.e. where machine performance is not effected by rising temperature. Hysol X Series Environmentally friendly mineral oil soluble metal cutting lubricant Castrol Hysol X is a biostable, extreme pressure soluble oil. Castrol Hysol X contains lubricity agents, chlorine free EP additives and special additives to protect against corrosion. The biostable system incorporated into Castrol Hysol X provides a high resistance to bacteria/fungi attack. Castrol Hysol X can be used on all metals and machine operations.castrol Hysol X is especially applicable to machine aluminium and aluminium alloys giving extremely high finish and machining performance. Castrol Hysol X can be employed in large centralised systems or small individual coolant sumps. Magnaglide D Slideway Oils Castrol Magnaglide D is specially formulated for the lubrication of slideways on machine tools. These oils are fortified with selected oiliness, extreme pressure additives and a special material to impart tackiness and adhesiveness. Magnaglide D lubricants are noted for their usual ability to overcome the stick-slip motion ordinarily associated with slow moving tool parts. They reduce machine tool carriage chatter and possess the necessary adhesive characteristics to prevent squeezing out of the lubricant. Magnaglide D can be used on all horizontal and vertical slideways where a high quality demulsifying lubricant is required for slideway protection and to maximize coolant life; the outstanding frictional characteristics of the products prevents stickslip, improving surface finish and tolerances of machined components and reducing rejection rates. Alpha SP Gear Oils The Castrol Alpha SP gear oil range of high quality lubricants are based upon highly refined mineral oil, enhanced with sulphur/phosphorus extreme pressure additive technology providing outstanding thermal stability and high load carrying capacity. The Alpha SP range is recommended for the lubrication of industrial gear boxes using forced circulation or splash and oil bath lubrication. They may be used for the lubrication of spur and helical gears and in some lightly loaded worm type gear applications. They have very good viscosity characteristics to ensure that starting torques are not excessively high in cold operating conditions. Ilocut 154 Neat cutting oil Castrol Ilocut 154 is a neat cutting oil containing a sulphurised fatty additive (non-staining) in a solvent refined mineral oil. Castrol Ilocut 154 is a general purpose neat cutting oil ideal for repetition work on automatic and manual machine tools for free machining ferrous metals such as irons, neckels and steels to 80 tons tensile. Also for repetition work and high speed spindle automatics machining copper and aluminium alloys. Excellent general purpose neat cutting oil wide range of machining operations and metals. Iloform TDN 81 Neat forming oil Castrol Iloform TDN 81 is a medium viscosity, chlorinated, heavy duty forming fluid. It is a blend of high performance extreme pressure and lubricity additives in a fully solvent refined paraffinic mineral oil. Iloform TDN 81 is specially formulated for use in heavy duty deep drawing applications where extreme performance is required.it is suitable for use on medium to heavy gauge steels, stainless steel, and nickel alloy steels, as well asaluminium and aluminium alloys.iloform TDN 81 is also recommended for use in stainless steel and alloy steel tube cold pilgering operations,where it is applied as an outer diameter roll lubricant, as well as machine gear box lubricant. Spheerol EPL Bearing Grease Castrol Spheerol EPL range of greases are lithium based products containing highly refined mineral oils and fortified with extreme pressure (EP) additives as well as corrosion and oxidation inhibitors. These greases have been formulated with additives that provide good film strength under medium to high loads. The Spheerol EPL range are general purpose greases designed for plant wide lubrication. The range extends from a NLGI 2 for general purpose bearing lubrication to a NLGI 00 semi-fluid grease suitable for centralised lubrication systems and grease filled gearboxes. These greases provide good protection against rust and corrosion as well as resistance to water wash-out; which makes them particularly suitable for equipment where moist or wet conditions are common.
