1(a) Curriculum Vitae Roberto Cipriani is Full Professor of Sociology at the University of Rome 3, where he is Chairman of the Department of Sciences of Education. He has been visiting professor at the University of Berkeley. He is Past President of the Italian Sociological Association. He has been Professor of Qualitative Methodology at the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil), and of Political Science at the Laval University in Québec, and of Qualitative Analysis in Federal University of Pernambuco- Recife. He is also former Past President of the ISA Research Committee for the Sociology of Religion. He has been Editor-in-Chief of "International Sociology" (I.S.A. official journal), and member of the Executive Committee of the AISLF (International Association of French Speaking Sociologists) and of the IIS (International Institute of Sociology). He is member of the Executive Committee of the International Society for the Sociology of Religion. He has done research in Greece, Mexico, and Spain, and has produced some research-movies. He is President of the Council of National Sociological Associations in the European Sociological Associations. He is National Coordinator for Sociological Research Evaluation in Italy, and referee for many international journals, Framework Program (EU), Universities and Departments evaluation, national research funds (e.g. Consolider, a multidisciplinary financing programme in Spain).
