Sirgi, MD, MBA, FCAP Email: sirgimd@gmail.com LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/karimsirgi Twitter: @KSirgiMD SUMMARY OF PRIOR LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE Ø Actively participated in the successful merger of three pathology groups, which led to the formation of Unipath PC and LLC, the largest pathology group in the Rocky Mountains Region, with a privately owned full service laboratory technical operation. Ø Led efforts that built for Unipath PC one of the broadest spectrum of sub- specialized diagnostic service lines in the US, in a private group setting. Ø As president of Unipath PC, led negotiations that resulted in a multi- million dollar sale transaction of the technical assets of Unipath LLC to American Pathology Partners, while maintaining the financial, operational and governance independence of Unipath PC. Ø Presided over the medical staff of one of the premier tertiary care facilities of the HCA hospital system in Denver. Successfully enhanced the dialogue and sense of partnership between a diverse, highly specialized, medical staff and the hospital administration. Ø Chaired the HealthOne/HCA Presidents Council, a committee of presidents, president- elects and past- presidents of the medical staff of seven HCA- owned facilities in the Denver market. Successfully strengthened the system approach to medical staff matters critical to all facilities of that system. Ø Co- owns and executively manages a consulting company (Medicolegal Consultants International) that provides medical expertise to attorneys, on an individual or class action basis, in all specialties and sub- specialties of medicine. Built operational elements of the company from the ground up, with sustained growth and success (www.mlcillp.com). Ø Co- owns and executively manages a consulting company (LambdaX3 International) that offers healthcare solutions in lean management, professional coaching, organizational leadership and the integration of digital based diagnostic platforms in medicine (www.lambdax3.com).
