Measure the particular biomarkers that are most relevant to your individual project or disease pathway Combine key biomarkers with inflammatory cytokines for additional monitoring of immune response Easily modify array panels based on testing results, shifts in focus, and the discovery of new biomarkers of interest
Custom Array Validation Large studies or trials may require validation of the specific array panels (combinations and configurations of analytes) that will be used for sample analysis. Assay protocols, sample types tested, and specifications for the validation assays can be modified to meet individual study requirements. Aushon researchers have validated specific biomarker array panels for a number of clients for Alzheimer s, cancer, cardiovascular disease, COPD, cystic fibrosis, diabetes / obesity, inflammation, rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and other studies. A typical array panel validation includes the following assays: Dynamic range Sensitivity: LLOD and LLOQ Intra-assay precision Inter-assay precision Spike & recovery Linearity of dilution Reference range / baseline levels Specificity / cross-reactivity Custom Assay Development The Aushon SearchLight platform offers a menu of more than 300 cytokines and biomarkers for a variety of species. In the event that a particular biomarker of interest is not on the menu, custom assay development is available. Our experienced scientists source and evaluate reagents to identify the best possible antibody pair available. Each new antibody pair is tested with natural samples to confirm proper recognition of natural protein. Standard new assay validation includes the parameters below, but may be modified to meet specific client needs. Most assays are validated for serum, plasma, and tissue culture supernatant samples, but alternate sample types may be validated upon request. New assays can be developed for analysis in the SearchLight Sample Testing Service or incorporated into custom chemiluminescent or IR array kits. New assay validation includes: 11 Dynamic range Sensitivity: LLOD and LLOQ Intra-assay precision Inter-assay precision Spike & recovery Linearity of dilution Normal range / baseline levels Lower your research costs and improve your productivity.
