The creative students develop and execute creative solutions to problems, giving the brand a competitive edge in its communication. The student agency teams present their solutions to the real agencies and clients directly involved in the project. Your First Portfolio Every creative student leaves with a portfolio of work that enables them to find their first job. During final year AAA organises your first job interview to land that all-important internship. Internships (Work Based Learning) All final year students embark on a structured and monitored four week internship programme within an advertising agency or design studio.

Internships (Work Based Learning) All graduate year students embark on a structured and monitored four week internship program within an advertising agency. THESAURUS Student Support Services Student support includes a resource centre, access to the internet, monitoring by Faculty Heads and Registrars, counselling help, student exhibitions (showcase), industry contact and internships. Note Classes run from 09h00 to 16h30, Mondays to Fridays. Some modules are offered by ad industry executives on weekday evenings and/or Saturday mornings. Admission Requirements 1. The following Admission Criteria will be used: As a restricted number of students are accepted in the various fields of study, programme specific entry requirements apply over and above the general minimum admission requirements. These include, inter alia (will vary by specialisation, see the relevant Application form): completion of an application form 2. General minimum admission requirements 2.1 To be able to gain access to the Creative faculty s programmes, applicants are required to have the appropriate combination of recognized NSC (National Senior Certificate) subjects as well as certain levels of achievement in matric in these subjects. For example, for a Diploma programme the minimum requirements are: NSC. at least 30% (2 APS) in the Language of Teaching. at least 40% (3 APS) in 4 recognized NSC 20 credit subjects. For a BA degree the minimum requirements are: NSC. at least 30% (2 APS) in the Language of Teaching. 3. Final admission is based on the final Grade 12 results. 2.4 The right to add, withdraw or change any part or any requirement without prior notification, remains vested in AAA School of Advertising.
