Developed ongoing programs to recruit and inform targeted populations (minorities, adults, and women). Planned and organized activities, controlled budgets, and supervised open houses for 200-300 potential students. Hired, trained and supervised para-professional counselor/ recruiters and clerical personnel. Designed a model para-professional training program which was used by other offices at the college. Apprised each supervisee of minimum standards and evaluated them based on those standards. Utilized interest inventories, ability tests and personality assessments as well as specific computer programs (SIGI) as aids in counseling.
