Dear valued customers, Taxes Breakdown (XT) Enhancement 25 Feb 2009 Please be advised that Taxes Breakdown (XT) Enhancement has implemented with immediate effect. The implementation of this project will provide Abacus with: a. Competitive solution that complies with industry requirements, a new XT Breakdown Acceptance indicator if electronic carrier is able to support system will able to pass 99 paid and 99 unpaid taxes b. Allowing fulfillment of electronic ticketing transactions that are compatible with industry standards. d Enhancing features: : 1. A new XT Breakdown Acceptance indicator will be introduced in the E-ticket Carrier Profile which denotes whether carrier can accept a break out of all taxes (up to 99 paid and up to 99 unpaid). Please refer to Appendix 1 for the sample of carrier profile with the new indicator. The Agent Coupon & E-Ticket Passenger Itinerary Receipt will be enhanced if electronic ticketing carrier supports XT Breakdown Acceptance. Please refer to Appendix 2 for the sample of agent coupon & e-ticket itinerary receipt. 2. Upon this enhancement, taxes will be saved separately from the fare calculation. The Ticket Fare Record display will show combined tax in the third tax box with XT tax breakdown after the fare calculation. Ticket Fare record created prior to this implementation will display in the new format after implementation. Please refer to Appendix 3 for the sample of ticket record. 3. Abacus expanded Rate Desk Pricing entry [W#I#Y] allows from 50 to 80 taxes (paid/unpaid). If more than 80 taxes, a new insert entry [W#I#T] is available for this 如 enhancement. Appendix 4 Rate Desk Pricing Insert Entry & Ticket Fare Record Taxes will be saved separately from the fare calculation but the Rate Desk Pricing / Ticket Fare Record will show combined tax in the third tax box with XT tax breakdown in a separate area below the fare calculation. XF breakdown and ZP breakdown will be included in the fare calculation. Changes will be made as below: - Allow input up to 80 unpaid taxes in original ticket insert entry (W I Y) - Allow input up to 80 unpaid taxes and/or paid taxes in the exchange ticket insert entry (W I Y*E) - A new insert entry (W I T) will be created to allow an additional 80 unpaid and/or paid taxes to be inserted.
