You will need to choose a unique Username and Password for your account. Depending on the service you have chosen, you may need more than one account. This is common with Mobile Grid, where you will have one management account and could have multiple user accounts. For example, if you will have five employees using Mobile Grid, each will need their own Cloud- In-Hand.com account in addition to your management account for a total of six accounts.
Account Configuration After you have signed up for your account, log in and begin the configuration of your account. This configuration will include standard account settings such as email addresses, defaults for files that will be used, database connection settings, and roster files. Home This button will take you to the Cloud-In-Hand.com home page. Account The Account tab is used to edit the Name, Primary and Secondary Email, file configurations, and Device IDs attached to the account. MySQL Database The MySQL Database tab will let you configure the connection settings for your database. Contact your database administrator for this information if you do not have it available. Roster The Roster tab will allow you to upload a roster file for attendance tracking. You can adjust the settings of the file before it is uploaded from this tab. Database auto-update time Set the time (in GMT) that databases automatically update from your Cloud-In-Hand.com account to the mobile devices running Mobile Grid. Any changes to the database file(s) will be pushed to mobile devices as long as Enable database auto-sync is enabled. With this option selected, when you open Mobile Grid from a mobile device, it automatically checks the server to verify that it is running the latest version of the database. Note that the app sees that the database is in sync and lists the last time that the database was verified. DB FTP Configure the FTP information for your database files. This includes the username, password, address, port, and automatic update information.

Grid Settings Set the Mobile Grid mode, column headers, whether you will be adding data or auditing information, and how to prompt for quantity amounts. Different grid modes allow for different settings. A basic grid mode, like Action Profiles or Standard allows you to set the column headers.
