Introduction MessageGuard is an add-on e-mail subscription service that allows customers to send secure, encrypted e-mail messages via Outlook or Outlook Express, while not requiring recipients to install any new software, exchange keys, or know the senders password. MessageGuard utilizes industry standard AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption to secure e-mail messages, but unlike other solutions utilizes a new user friendly encryption technology called IBE (Identity Based Encryption), to protect the keys.
