The MBA Exercise is a two-day program that is run once each year and conducted off campus for the new cohort of MBA students. Responsibility for national retail grocery sales of approximately $43 million. The position required line management of two account managers, twenty-two merchandisers and brokerage operations in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. Reported to the Group Marketing Director. Left before merger with ACF to pursue own business. National Account Manager September 1992 to October 1993 Responsible for management of Coles-Myer Supermarkets account nationally and Woolworths Queensland. Accountable for sales of approximately $22 million. Reported to Sales Director. Kraft Foods Ltd, New South Wales NSW State Account Manager December 1988 to April 1991 Responsible for the largest Kraft account in Australia (Franklins) and a business unit, which also included Jewel and Bilo foodstores. Total sales budget of approximately $46 million. Implemented sales and marketing strategies to achieve authorisation, volume and profitability targets of the account business unit. Jointly accountable for State of NSW ($96 million turnover, field force of 12 territory managers and 31 merchandisers). Reported to National Account Manager. Grew Franklins to largest account in Australia. Winner Kraft Branch of the Year 1990. Left to pursue an MBA.
