CHOOSE YOUR SERVICE PACKAGE A SMALL SHOP needs a straightforward device that can be placed on the counter. For a small shop we recommend the VX Duet device and the Premium package. FOR A HAIR or beauty salon the easy-to-use VX Duet device and the Basic package would be a suitable combination. If more than one entrepreneur uses the device, the multi-user version is an ideal choice. For this purpose, Premium Plus is the best package. A COFFEE SHOP typically has a large amount of small transactions. For coffee shops we recommend the VX 520 device combined with the Premium package. The device can also be equipped with a separate smart card reader for client convenience. FOR HOTELS we recommend the Premium package, which includes for example extended customer service hours. The VX 520 device would be ideal for a hotel. If mobility is required, we recommend the portable VX 690 or VX 680 devices. The device s large, clear LCD display and appropriately sized keys make it easy to use and help to reduce typing errors. The VX 820 DUET device uses a broadband connection and can be linked directly to an existing network. VX 520 Verifone VX 520 is the perfect solution for receiving payment transactions! The device comes with both LAN and GPRS capability. The device s internal NFC reader is capable of reading new proximity cards. Thanks to a powerful processor, it can handle authorizations in the blink of an eye and a battery makes it possible to receive payments nearly anywhere with ease. A separate NFC-ready smart card reader, the VX 820, can also be connected to the device. SERVICE PACKAGE FEATURES SOFTWARE LICENSE (Basic, Premium and Premium Plus) The software license and the included maintenance service grant the client usage rights to all software and devices included in the contract and software updates for the payment devices. Verifone guarantees that the software complies with all mandatory payment card data security specifications and with all binding data security regulations required for payment devices enforced during the fixed contract period. Service package set-up fee is 55. Verifone customer service (telephone service, subject to charge) is available Monday - Friday 8.00 19.00 and Saturday 9.00 14.00. TRANSACTION ROUTING (Basic, Premium and Premium Plus) In transaction routing payment card authorization requests and payment transactions from the device are routed to the recipients (for example bank, Nets) safely, securely and quickly through Verifone s service center. The service contacts the bank network through a secure encrypted connection in compliance with security standards set by the Federation of Finnish Financial Services. The client does not need PATU keys and payment card information is not stored within the device. With the routing service changing the transaction recipient is easy and does not require making changes to the device. device maintenance (Basic and Premium) In the case of device malfunction, Verifone will repair it or replace it with another in equal condition free of charge within three (3) business days (Mon-Fri) after Verifone s maintenance & repair has received the defective device. If Verifone s personnel detects that the malfunction has been caused by, for example, an accident, an external individual, fire, damage resulting from issues with air conditioning, electricity or lightning, water damage or another similar event, changes in operating conditions or inappropriate use of the device, the client will be responsible for all service costs. After 36 months the client will be responsible for the service costs of devices. CUSTOMER SERVICE (Basic) Our Customer Service team is available from 8.00 to 19.00 Mon-Fri and from 9.00 to 14.00 on Saturdays. Contactless payments (Standard Service) Contactless payments will be activated during device set-up. REPORTING SERVICE (Premium and Premium Plus) Reporting allows a company to centralize the management of funds flowing through payment devices. The service will assign transactions from devices into groups determined by the client and once a day forward them to recipients (for example bank, Nets) as specified by client. The service makes detecting and correcting possible transmission errors, balancing sales and processing month-end closings considerably easier. TAXI VERSION (Premium and Premium Plus) The taxi version enables the use of the taxi program. The taxi program is pre-programmed in the device. RESTAURANT VERSION (Premium and Premium Plus) The restaurant version enables to use of extra/tip on the device. PRODUCT VERSION (Premium and Premium Plus) With the product version it is possible to assign products and services on the device. This makes it possible to print a receipt with the sold product or service, business ID, price and proportion of VAT. INVOICING SERVICE (Premium and Premium Plus) The service offers invoicing as a payment method alongside existing debit and credit card options. This service is offered in cooperation with Intrum Justitia. EXTENDED CUSTOMER SERVICE (Premium and Premium Plus) Mon - Fri from 8.00 to 21.00 Sat from 9.00 to 18.00 Sun from 12.00 to 18.00 Fast DELIVERY (Premium Plus) We ship a payment device within 3 days from receiving all required information from the client. LOYALTY PROGRAM (Premium Plus) Activation of loyalty program. This feature will be installed during device set-up. Pre-authorization (Premium Plus) Pre-authorization enables making a fund provision request in advance on a client s card. This feature is suitable for hotels and car rentals. MULTI-USER VERSION (Premium Plus) With the multi-user version it is possible for multiple legally separate businesses with separate accounts to share a device. The accounts of the businesses sharing a device must all be in the same bank and each business is required to have a separate payment device contract. SELLER S OWN LOGO ON THE DEVICE (Premium Plus) A seller can use their own logo on the device. The seller will provide the logo to a Verifone sales person upon placing an order. PREMIUM SERVICE (Premium Plus) If a client notifies Verifone of a device malfunction before 12.00 on a business day, he will be sent a replacement device on that same day. If a client notifies Verifone of device malfunction after 12.00 or on a non-business day, a replacement device will be sent on the next business day. DEVICE SECURITY (Premium Plus) If a device malfunction is determined to be the client s responsibility, the deductible is 195 / device. Device security is valid through the fixed contract period (24 months). CHANGING THE DEVICE (Premium Plus) The client is allowed to change payment device type (desktop > portable or portable > desktop) free of charge once during the fixed contract period.
