Summary Paragraph on Website when you enter the Citi GTS URL Citi Virtual Card Accounts (VCA) provides a secure, convenient way for a client to deliver virtual card number details to a supplier using encrypted email. Suppliers receiving the email will have all the necessary details to process payment. Emails are sent through MasterCard s secure email infrastructure on behalf of VCA clients. The solution meets both Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards and MasterCard network rules. 1. What are the benefits of receiving a VCA payment for suppliers? The benefit to you is that you will now receive all of your U.S. SunAmerica Financial Group payments electronically via a highly fraud-and-loss-resistant transaction through the MasterCard network. By moving to Citi Virtual Card Accounts Payments, you will improve your cash flow by receiving funds faster and save time while helping the SunAmerica Financial Group to reduce payment errors and fraud risk. You will also be able to receive remittance information electronically via secure email. Additional Benefits: Funds will be credited to your merchant account in 1-2 days No waiting for checks to arrive in the mail No need to deposit, scan or process checks Go Green paperless initiative Electronic remittance advice eases reconciliation 2. Why do suppliers need to provide an updated email address? U.S. SunAmerica Financial Group requires an updated email address to send payment details to the supplier via Citi s Virtual Card Accounts. The supplier will receive an encrypted email containing a 16-digit virtual card number, payment amount details, and additional remittance data as supplied by the buyer. The supplier will then be able to process the 16 digit virtual card number to receive payment. 3. How are the emails sent to suppliers? Emails are sent securely over the internet to the specified email address using an encrypted email delivery feature called Transport Layer Security (TLS). When U.S. SunAmerica Financial Group sends an email to you, the VCA email server checks to see if your email server supports TLS and takes the following action: If TLS is supported, the VCA email server encrypts the email for secure delivery over the internet. Upon receipt, the email is decrypted by your email server; you will be able to read these emails as usual without any additional steps If your email server does not support TLS, the VCA email server sends an email with an encrypted attachment containing the virtual card number information. You can decrypt the attachment by following instructions included in the email. o The process described below addresses the steps needed to be taken by suppliers that do not support TLS. To access and retrieve email through a non- TLS-enabled email server, those suppliers must follow these steps: 1. In the email, open the attached file called SecureMessageAtt.html. Opening the file will launch a new browser window.
2. Click the Click to Read message button in the newly opened browser window. 3A. First-Time Recipients: If this is the first time that a supplier is receiving a VCA email at this specific email address, a Registration screen will appear. The supplier completes the registration process, which includes establishing a username and password. These credentials will be used to access VCA payment details in emails sent to this supplier in the future. Click Continue.
3B. Repeat Recipients: If this is not the first time a supplier has received a VCA email at this email address, the supplier will be prompted to enter their previously established password. Enter the password and click Continue. Note: A Forgot Password link allows the email recipient to re-set their password if needed.
4 Once the supplier has signed in using their password, the email will appear in the browser. The supplier can then use the virtual card number and related data within the email to process payment. 3. Who should suppliers contact with questions?
