Only reports that are stored in the Shared Reports STI folder will be updated with an STI update. If the user copies the report from this folder to another folder and an update is applied, the report will have to be recopied to the destination folder in order for the update to be applied to all locations. Reports that are deleted or moved will not be updated when an STI update is applied. Icons To save changes, click Save in the bottom right corner of the settings window. To discard changes, click Cancel in the top right corner of the settings window. The Edit button in the top right corner allows you to edit the report parameters and re-generate the dashboard. The X button will remove the panel from the dashboard. Absence This report will generate student absences and membership percent based upon count of daily absences with two levels of thresholds (red and yellow). This report is located at Reports INFocus Shared Reports STI. This report does exclude absences with the type of Other. The school name is a drill-down to grade level. Display in yellow when membership absence exceeds percent: Defaults to 5 Discipline This report generates a depiction of student discipline dispositions including breakdowns by Infraction and Race. This report is located under Reports INFocus Shared Reports STI. The report includes a simple table breakdown of results, and a graphical depiction of the data in the form of a side-by-side bar chart. The report will be controlled by several parameters. The user may select any number of schools from which they have permission to view or report. Users may also select any number of available dispositions to limit the data. Two dates are selected which will form the basis for the comparison. User may select from various options that will affect the presentation of the report. By selecting the View Type District or School, the user will be presented with a sub-report depicting a district summary of dispositions, or a per-school breakdown of disposition count percentages, respectively. User may control the breakdown options in the report by selecting Grade or Race from the Group By option. The district view data will be depicted as a side-by-side bar chart broken down by selected criteria. The graph and table will provide the user with a way to compare district-wide disposition counts on a per-grade level or per-race basis. The school view, much like the district view, will have a bar chart with an accompanying details data table based on the selected criteria. In school view, the data is depicted in a manner that allows easy comparison of school-wide disposition information across two dates. Export to (Excel, PDF) Enrollment This report will generate a comparison of enrollment per school based upon two dates. The dates are not restricted to an academic year, and can be selected across multiple years on any in school day in any calendar year. This report is located at Reports INFocus Shared Reports STI. The output of the report will be driven by various user inputs which control both the information contained in as well as the presentation format of the report. By selecting Two Dates, the user may utilize two-day pickers from which any two calendar days can be selected. Viable input is restricted to in-school days, but may be selected across multiple academic years. When two dates are picked in this manner, the report will display a count of students that are/were currently enrolled on the selected dates. Alternately, the user may select to display enrollment data across multiple years. With this option, the user may view enrollment numbers from up to 5 previous years. When specified in this fashion, the report will show current enrollment information up to today s date as well as enrollment information as of the end of previous Academic Sessions for the previous years. The user may control the breakdown in the report by selecting Grade or Race from the Group By option. The district view data will be depicted as a side-by-side bar chart, broken down by selected criteria. The graph and table will provide the user with a way to compare district-wide enrollment counts on a per-grade level or per-race basis across either two dates or multiple years. The school view, much like the district view, will show a bar chart with an accompanying details data table based on the selected criteria. In school view, the data is depicted in a manner that allows easy comparison of per-school enrollment. Note that the grid and the details table for both Two Dates and Multiple Years are the same for each Grade Level and Race breakdown when no drilldowns have been initiated. Group By Race or Grade Level only affects the output of the school view when a school has been drilled down on. Once a drilldown has been initiated, detail tables will be different depending on the group by selected. Drilldown capability is available from the school to the grade level. Export to (Excel, PDF) Ethnicity Summary This report will generate summary counts and percentages of enrollment by ethnicity, as of today s date, per school and grade level. This report is located at Reports INFocus Shared Reports STI. The Edit button in the top right corner allows you to edit the report parameters and re-generate the dashboard. If view type of District is selected, the report will generate a table and a pie chart that will total the ethnicity results for all of the schools selected in the School select list user input. If view type of School is selected, the report will generate a table and a stacked bar graph that will show the ethnicity results for each school selected in the School select list user input The Count Date parameter will default to today s date, with the option for the user to change. The Count Date is required and will be used to get ethnicity information for students who are enrolled in school as of the Count Date. GPA Distribution This report will show how GPA s distribute across specific populations such as Lunch Status, Gender, and Race. It will return results for currently enrolled students based upon today s date. This report is located at Reports INFocus Shared Reports STI. GPA results will round to the nearest.25 using standard rounding notation. (i.e., a GPA of 3.125 will round up to 3.25. A GPA of 3.124 will round down to 3.00). Report Parameters Schools Group By: Gender, Race, or Lunch Status. Count Date: Defaults to today s date. Export to (Excel, PDF). Graduate Tracking System (At Risk) This dashboard/report will generate counts/lists of students who meet At Risk or Graduate Tracking System criteria, including grades, unexcused absences and dispositions. This report is located at Reports INFocus Shared Reports STI At Risk. To be included, the student must be enrolled for at least one day between the start and end date defined. The Grades option will evaluate grades for the latest grading period in the date range when determining if the student is at risk. Unexcused absences will count all unexcused absences that occur during the date range selected. Suspensions/Dispositions will count each suspension period from student occurrence disposition. Count as 1 if at least one day is in the date range defined. Within the table, the school name is a drilldown and will drill to grade level and then to the student level based on the number of risk factors held by the student (3, 2, 1, 0). Summary and Total rows are available. The bar chart is hyperlinked for drilldown to grade level and then student by number or risk factors. Lunch Eligibility This report generates Lunch Eligibility data in the form of a pie chart, a horizontal bar chart, and a table based on user criteria selected on the report input parameters. This report is located at Reports INFocus Shared Reports STI. The report allows the user to view by District or by individual School, and to group results by Grade or by Race. Based on these inputs, there are four possible report layouts. A Count Date will also be used to get information for students enrolled as of that date. The Lunch Eligibility report will be controlled by four parameters: Schools, View, Count Date and Group By. The Schools list will be populated based on the current user s UserID and the user will be allowed to pick as many schools as desired. If All -- is selected, it will override any other schools selected and show results for all schools in the list. The View radio button will allow for District and School selections. If District is selected, all results for the schools selected in the Schools list will be grouped together. If School is selected, results will be returned on a per-school basis based on the schools selected in the Schools list. The Count Date will only return students who are enrolled as of the selected date. It will default to today s date and will be required by the user. The Group By select list will contain selections for Grade and Race. If Grade is selected, results will be shown based on the schools different grade levels. If Race is selected, results will be shown based on the schools different race codes. The report displays in an HTML format on the same page, once the user has entered parameters. The user may then alter previously selected parameters and click the Save button to display the report based on the new criteria. Special Education Discipline Dispositions This report generates Special Education Discipline Dispositions data in the form of a bar graph and a table based on user criteria selected on the report input parameters. This report will be located at Reports INFocus Shared Reports STI. The report allows the user to view by District or by individual School, and to group results by Grade or by Race. Based on these inputs, there are four possible report layouts. A Start Date and End Date will also be used to get information for students who fall within that range. Counts are given in several ranges (1-2.5 days, 3-4.5 days, 5-6.5 days, 7-8.5 days, 9-9.5 days, 10 days, greater than 10 days). A Special Education student is defined as a student enrolled for at least one day within the date range specified and who has a Special Education status code of Active. Note: In Alabama, State Code = ACTIVE, other states = 01. The report will be controlled by 6 parameters: Schools, Dispositions, Start Date, End Date, View and Group By. The Schools list will be populated based on the current user s UserID and the user will be allowed to pick as many schools as desired. If All -- is selected, it will override any other schools selected and show results for all schools in the list. The Dispositions list will contain a list of active discipline dispositions. This will be used to count the number of students on the report who fall into the disposition. The Start Date and End Date will be used to return student information that falls within the range of the dates selected. Start Date will default to blank and will be required entry.
