Will you have an AAOT? If yes, that s good news! Here s what you need to know: 1. Your AAOT will automatically satisfy NCU s general education core requirements, with the exception of Bible courses and possibly some electives. Depending on how many credits you earn with your AAOT, you may need to earn additional credits of electives outside the ADP to reach the overall total of 124 semester (186 quarter) credits. Only courses with a grade of C- or better will transfer. Developmental courses such as WRI 095 or lower, and math courses below MTH 105 will not transfer. Vocational/professional/technical courses are not recommended, as these may not transfer if they don t fulfill graduation requirements. PSYCHOLOGY STUDENTS: As part of your AAOT you should take KCC s PSY 201, and 202 or 203, and one of the following; BIO 102 or 103 or 232 (these biology classes must have a lab). If you take MTH 243 and/or both PSY 225 and 226 at KCC, these will transfer as equivalent courses for NCU s MTH 310 or PSY 420 in the major, but you will still need to meet the graduation requirement of 27 semester upper division credits. BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION STUDENTS: As part of your AAOT you should take KCC s accounting sequence, BUS 211, 212, and 213, which are required for the programs. No AAOT? No problem!
