Example IPC@CHIP and Power-Line Reducing power consumption by intelligently controlling electrical loads using the IPC@CHIP and power-line communication. 20.07.2005 No. 11 /14
Example Zeiterfassung mit DCF-Uhr und Chipkartenleser (only in German) Aufbau, Inbetriebnahme und Programmierung. 20.07.2005 No. 12 /14
Example Low Cost PI controler with the IPC@CHIP Sample for real time control applications with an A/D converter. The development board DK50, which has been extended with a 12-Bit A/D converter and a PWM output. The software PI regulator within the application uses the value provided by the A/D converter as setting parameter. The further control parameters and data are set and visualized by using the Web interface. The functionality of the sample has been proved, considering the example of a mass flow regulation in a flow channel. 20.07.2005 No. 13 /14
Conclusion Space for Extensions Open System, Circuit diagrams avalible RS232 Signal External power supply 10/100 Mbit Ethernet 3 PIOs with LEDs 8 LEDs with Pins 26 extension pins with partly decoding A/D Bus at latches Compact Flash Simple & fast commisioning Documentation Power connection at ring plug Euro cart format ==> An extentional functional basic function ==> Enabled of development of own extensions and convert into own hardware ==> The most used communication interface ==> No problem for finding out of an power supply ==> Simple link to network and Webserver, FTP etc. are available also the interface for setup ==> Easy link for I2C and SPI ==> Easy to use I/O via Port command from program or console. To control via Webserver and the result is visible. ==> Easy link of extensions for AD-converter, PIO-module, LCD usw. ==> Buffer of bigger Web presentations. Datalogging. Reduce write cycle at internal flash of SC13 ==> Customer don t need deaper knowledge of Embedded. Provide confidence, that the development is running well ==> Enabled a savety step by step commissioning ==> Easy plug in and out for cold start. Commisioning without screw clamp ==> Availability of boxes to present a prototype. Standard format. 20.07.2005 No. 14 /14
