ad eligibility Marchon Eyewear will participate in many different advertising opportunities: newspapers, radio, television, yellow pages, duratrans, billboards, etc. Prior approval is required for all planned advertising efforts. Marchon reserves the right to change the Co-op images and logos. Every ad must be pre-approved annually. Postage and mailing envelopes are not eligible for co-op reimbursements. Please be aware that no other eyewear suppliers photos, frames, logos or names can be mentioned to qualify for reimbursement. The current Marchon or collection logo must appear in the ad with its registered trademark and should be the same size as your company name or logo. Ads with non-competitive products such as lenses and contacts, will be eligible for our Co-op program. However, reimbursement will be reduced proportionally based on the percentage of space devoted to Marchon. Marchon frames cannot be advertised as discounted merchandise in ads or coupons. Yellow Page Advertising At least one trademarked logo must appear in the ad. Marchon logos need to be of the same or comparable size to the account s name or logo. To ensure reimbursement, submit a copy of the ad prior to printing for approval to the co-op advertising department. Fax: 877-467-3639 If your Yellow Page ad should overlap two calendar years, we will reimburse you the first portion at the end of the first calendar year. You must submit the remaining portion at the end of the second calendar year. Co-op dollars are earned for 12 months, beginning January 1st and ending December 31st. Co-op dollars earned for the year must be spent in that year and can not be forwarded into the next year. TV & Radio Advertising The following statement must appear at least once in any television or radio ad copy submitted for Marchon co-op advertising: We Feature Marchon Eyewear Marchon Eyewear must be mentioned the same number of times as the sponsor. No competitors, price points, or special discounts on frames can be used. If a contact lens or lens company is included then reimbursement is reduced proportionally. Radio copy should be submitted to Marchon Eyewear for approval prior to being aired. Television ad copy and description of the video segment must be submitted prior to the ad being aired. Duratrans and Lightboxes: Lightbox displays ordered from Marchon qualify for 100% co-op reimbursement. For Marchon's many duratran selections, see pages 6-8. 4
Reimbursement At the end of the calendar year, submit a copy of the paid advertising bill and a tear sheet of the ad. In the case of radio or television, a copy of the spot, performance affidavit and paid invoice are required. To expedite your reimbursement, please use the claim form provided on page 39. If you choose not to use our claim form, please be sure to include your account number on the documentation you are submitting. For further information on our co-op program, ask your Marchon sales representative, or call 1-800-645-1300 (Co-op Department ext. 8754). If you have any concerns regarding co-op eligibility for your ad, fax it for prior approval to 877-467-3639 Attn: Co-op Department Ad must run by end of calendar year. Copies of your advertisements and bills must be submitted in order to receive reimbursements.
