Pricelist Additional Charges Cars and Trucks Information Prepaid Rates > Changing booking A booking can be changed up to 48 hours before the start of the rental (on availability) in return for an alteration charge of EUR 20.00. Any payment already made towards the rental will not be refunded; nor shall any differential amount be refunded if this alteration leads to a lesser rental cost. > Cancellation A booking can be cancelled before the start of the rental. In the event of cancellation, the payment already made towards the rental will be paid back subject to a cancellation charge. The cancellation charge shall be the amount of the rental charge (including any extras and charges) for a maximum of 3 rental days. EUR 69.99 per month or part thereof applies. Refueling Charge We will be happy to refill the car for you. The station s current refuelling charges will apply. This varies according to fuel market public prices and it might be the equivalent of twice per refilled litre. Alternatively, you may purchase a tankful of fuel at the time of rental at market price and return the tank empty. No refunds will be given for unused fuel and the price of the tankful will vary according to tank capacity of each vehicle. Wrong refuelling means an additional charge whose final amount will depend on the damage caused to the vehicle. If the rented vehicle contains an AdBlue tank, the renter must ensure that such tank is always sufficiently full, being responsible of the charges that might apply as the result of the damage caused to the vehicle. Administrative Charge for Processing of Fines The standard charge per each penalty report or case file issued by the competent authority during the rental period is of 18.00. Administrative Charge for Processing of Damages Notwithstanding exceptions mentioned in clause E.1.12 of Sixt General Terms and Conditions, the administrative charge for the processing of damages is of 30.00 EUR per each damage.
Penalty for not returning long term rental vehicles For rentals for periods from 28 days on, the amount of the penalty for failure to return the vehicle on the date indicated in the rental contract or for exceeding by more 100 kilometres the maximum kilometre indicated in the rental contract, is of 605.00 EUR per each infringement. Charge for replacement vehicle during rental period in case of renter's negligence Should the renter need a replacement vehicle during the rental period signed in the rental agreement, for whichever remaining length of rental, the renter must pay 242.00 EUR if the need of this replacement vehicle is due to renter's negligence and especially in cases of wrong refuelling and vehicle's key being lost. Additionally, there might be extra charges associated to breakdown van service that will be claimed by our Damage Department and invoiced at the price of 1.20 EUR per kilometre from the place where the car is stopped until the closet Sixt station or closet Sixt partner garage. Charge for breakdown van service in road assistance The renter is liable to pay this charge in case of tow or van service due to glass and/or tyre breakdown and not having contracted the GT (Glass & Tyre Coverage). Equally, the renter is liable to pay this charge should not have contracted the BF (Super Top Cover LDW) or coverage for reduction of the excess limitation in breakdowns not related to glass and/or tyre. The cost of this tow or van service is of 1.20 EUR per each towed kilometre up to a maximum of 500 EUR, in case the renter has not contracted the GT or the BF, accordingly, or if he has used the vehicle in forbidden or negligent circumstances.
