Youth Ministry Purpose Statement: Our purpose is to share the TRUTH by building RELATIONSHIPS and using our GIFTS to SERVE God. Through God s grace we will continue to grow and LIVE to encourage students and each other to be TRANSFORMED into the image of Christ. Truth = Evangelism Relationships = Fellowship Gifts to Serve = Ministry Live = Worship Transformed = Discipleship Dear Applicant, In order to provide opportunities for student leadership and spiritual growth, we want to give students an avenue for responsibility and ownership through serving on the student leadership team. Student Leaders are a vital part of the ministry here at East Street Church. Because of the work they do, and the people they work with are so important to us, we desire to have a team committed to character, competency, and chemistry. If you have taken this packet, you have indicated a desire to be a part of the student leadership team in this important ministry. Please take the time to fill out this application completely. Everyone who desires to join the student leadership team is required to fill out this application. Before you move on, here are some examples of what you would be signing up for! - General Leadership by living a life that is a Christian example to your peers and others. - Commitment to regular attendance to LiveWire AND Wired as a student leader. - Participation in small groups and accountability. - Attendance at mandatory Leadership Team Meetings. - Commit to a mentor relationship with one of our adult youth staff.
