The OEM Story A PROUD JOURNEY OF INNOVATION AND EXPERTISE Established in 1993, OEM Technology Solutions is a privately owned company specialising in the design and development of industrial computer and communications solutions with a focus on inter-connectivity. We also develop electronic hardware and application software for control, automation and information systems. It all began in Sydney, Australia in 1993 when OEM founder James McLeod and his team applied their application expertise to develop a computer controlled mobile manufacturing system for use by ICI Explosives (Orica) in the expanding minerals sector. The operating environment for these systems is harsh so OEM delivers solutions that are rugged, compact and designed to comply with the standard EN50155 as well achieve more demanding Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) from SIL1 to SIL4.
