1. Introduction Spread Co s mobile trading platform, Saturn Mobile, is widely acknowledged as being intuitive, rich in functionality and skilfully designed, providing our clients with the access and advanced tools and charts to assist them in making important trading decisions. Our clients have access to highly competitive, real time prices on a wide range of financial produ cts and are able to participate freely in the exciting and rapi dly evolving trading environment of the world s financial markets whilst on the move. This Quick Start Guide enables you to log in to Saturn Mobile and to start trading equities, indices, currencies and commodities. If you have any questions or queries regarding the use of Saturn Mobile, please visit our website or contact our Client Services Team.. Logging in After downloading the Saturn Mobile app from the App Store, open Saturn Mobile by tapping on the Saturn Mobile icon. On the login page enter your account username and password, and tap Login. If you would like the app to save your username and password for faster access, please select the Remember Me option. \If you have forgotten your password, please tap the Forgotten your password? link and a new password will be sent to your registered email address. Account summary Once you have logged into the Saturn Mobile platform, you will be directed to the Summary tab. This tab gives you a breakdown of the status of your account. 1. Cash Balance Total cash in your account. Includes all realised P&L.. Open P&L Marked to Market value of the net daily Profit/Loss on your open positions. 3. Account Valuation Aggregate of Cash Balance and Open P&L. 4. Margin Required Total Margin Requirement on open positions 5. Trading Resources Account Valuation minus Margin Required. This is the total funds that can be utilised for opening further positions. A basic account summary is also displayed at the bottom of most screens in the app. Add Funds Tapping the Add Funds button in the account summary screen will allow you to deposit money into your trading account. 1
4. Market navigation The Markets tab gives you access to the hundreds of financial ma rkets available to trade with Spread Co. Market Navigation Tree Tapping the Markets tab at the bottom of the screen will bring up the market navigation tree where you can scroll through the market lists and your watch lists. Market Search If you are looking for a specific market, you can use the Market Search feature which is located on the top right of the screen: Simply type the name of the desired market into the text box, a nd select the market in the list that appears below. Adding/Editing Watchlist To create a new watchlist: 1. Select a market you would like to add to the watchlist.. In the top right, select Edit > Manage Watchlists. 3. Tap the + symbol in the top right of your display. Type a name for the watchlist and tap save.
4. Market navigation (continued) 4. Select the watchlist to which you want the market to be added and then tap the back arrow in the top left of the screen. 5. The market will now appear in the selected watchlist in the Markets window. Placing a Trade 1. Tap the market you would like to trade from the Markets tab.. The top of the ticket displays the Sell price and the Buy price. Tap Buy or Sell. 3. You may enter the quantity in two ways: a) Tap the text box to manually enter the stake using the keyboard b) Tap the word Qty to select the stake via a scroll wheel 4. If you would like to add linked stop or limit orders, please select the appropriate box and enter the points away f rom the trade price you would like to place the orders. Again, these can be entered from either manually using the keyboard or using the scroll wheel. If the trade is successful, a trade confirmation will appear. If the trade is unsuccessful, you will be given a reason (for example, insufficient funds to support margin). Occasionally your trade may be referred to a dealer, who may quote you a new price. Select guaranteed if you would like to guarantee the price of your stop loss. 5. If you would like to place a trade in the opposite direction to a position in the same market that you already have, you can click on Forced. This will mean that your positions will not net off against each other. For example if you are long 1 EURUSD and then sell 1 EURUSD, ordinarily these trades would net off against each other to lea ve no positions;with a forced position trade it means that you will have a 1 l ong EURUSD and a 1 short EURUSD position.. To submit your trade, please click Confirm at the bottom of the screen. If the trade is successful, a trade confirmation will appear. If the trade is unsuccessful, you will be given a reason (for example, insufficient funds to support margin). Occasionally your trade may be referred to a dealer, who may quote you a new price. Managing Your Positions The positions tab, found at the bottom of the screen, gives you real-time valuations of your positions. The default view lists your positions in alphabetical order, displaying the Current Price and the Total P&L. The quantity shown is the combined quantity of any positions you have in that particular market and tapping the market will show all open positions. Rotate your device horizontally to view more information about your positions. You can also tap on the column headers (shown as Current and PnL Total in the screenshot) to change the information that is displayed. 3
4. Market navigation (continued) Amending Positions To add/remove/amend linked orders: 1. Tap the aggregate position you would like to amend.. Select the individual position where you would like to add or amend an order. Tap the Stop or Limit button. 3. Use the scroll wheel to select the Points away or the Price at which you would like to place the order. Alternatively, press and hold the scroll wheel to manually enter an exact price. 4. Tap done on the top right of your screen. Closing a Position 1. Tap the aggregate position you would like to close.. Select the individual position that you would like to close. 3. To close the entire position, select the Close button. To partially close a position, select the Partial button. 4
4. Market navigation (continued) Placing an Opening Order 1. In the Markets tab, tap the market in which you would like to place an opening order.. Tap Edit in the top right, and select Add an order. 3. Complete the relevant sections of the opening order: Action Direction of the opening order, buy or sell. Qty Quantity you would like to trade. Price Level of the opening order. Until Life of the opening order. Stop Level of linked stop loss (optional). Guaranteed Guarantee the stop loss level (optional). Limit Level of linked limit order (optional). 5
4. Market navigation (continued) Managing your Orders The Orders tab allows you to view and edit all of your current working orders. Tapping on the button at the top right of the screen allows you to switch between seeing just your opening orders and seeing all o f your orders (including orders which will close existing positions). Tapping on the column headers will allow you to select different criteria to be listed in this view, for example the order price, the current price or the type of order. You can also sort the order in which your orders are listed from this menu, by tapping Sort order at the bottom of the screen. You can also access your orders through the positions panel if you select a market from the positions panel you will see any stops or limits attached to your positions. If you tap on the orders button at the bottom of the screen you will see all of your orders that are currently working for the selected market (not just your contingent orders). Charts When viewing a trade ticket, you will notice the market s chart displayed at the bottom of the screen. You can enlarge the chart to full-screen by tilting your iphone horizontally. It is possible to adjust the time interval displayed on the chart simply by pinching inwards or outwards. Double tapping the chart will switch to realtime view. Settings The application settings can be found under the More tab. Here you will find information about your connection status, software version and preferences: Account if you have more than one sub-account you can switch between them here. Change password if you wish to change your password simp ly enter you current password and your new password here. Logout this will log you out of the application. Ignore sleep If this is on your phone screen will not lo ck itself. Mute sound if this is on then the application will not m ake any noises. History The History tab can be found within the More menu. History displays trading history for the last 7 days from both SATURN Web or SATURN Mobile. To refresh the available history, scroll down and then release once prompted. For a more in-depth history of your trades, refer to your daily statement.
. Adding funds to your account To add funds to your trading account, navigate to the Summary Page. Tap on the Add Funds button Enter the amount you wish to deposit and then tap on Add Funds If you have previously funded with a card(s) then you can select the card you wish to fund with by tapping on it. If you haven t used a card before and wish to add a new one, you will need to select the card type. You will then need to enter the card details and tap on the Pay button. Your payment will be processed and the funds should appear in your trading account 7
