Computing as a Service, SMB (CaaS SMB) is a flexible, high-performance, pay-as-you-go, computing-on-demand service from Verizon. The service is ideal for smaller businesses; individual departments; rapid prototyping developers who want to code, test, and stage in a reliable and scalable cloud environment; or anyone who needs the power of the cloud in the palm of their hand. Pricing Overview CaaS SMB brings the costs of virtualization to a level anyone can afford. And because you pay only for what you use, it s easy to tailor a custom system that s right for you while controlling virtualization costs. Users can even add or delete capacity as needed, all in a matter of minutes. Worried that too many options will make pricing confusing or hard to remember? The web console will alert you whenever you add costs to your network. The following table shows the billing resources available for CaaS SMB: Server Options The hourly price of your servers depends on their deployed virtual processors (VPUs), memory, system storage configuration, and operating system. System Storage Requirements System storage is preconfigured on the standard CaaS SMB deployment templates but can be configured if you create a blank server and install your own operating system. System storage is

priced at $.00035/hour per GB. The amount of minimum storage required varies for different operating systems. Some examples are shown below. System storage is billed per hour per GB. Additional Storage To expand the capacity of your server s storage, you can add additional storage through the server configuration wizard, scaling up to 15 total partitions and 7 TB. Additional storage is priced at $0.25/month per GB. Public IP Addresses With CaaS SMB, you can activate public IP addresses that stay persistent with your environment until you no longer need them. Each activated public IP address is priced at $0.01/hour. Internet Services Verizon Internet Services let you configure a public IP address s Internet protocol and communication port so your servers can be reached from the Internet. With the Internet Services feature, you also can enable network load balancing across multiple servers. Internet Services are priced at $0.01/hour per Internet service. There are no additional fees to use the load-balancing feature, and you may add as many servers (nodes) to each Internet service as you wish. Internet Bandwidth Internet bandwidth is billed based on data transferred in and out of your CaaS SMB public IP addresses. The price for bandwidth is $0.17/GB transferred. Subscription Hardware For convenience, we provide CaaS SMB customers prebuilt server templates that contain licensed subscription software. When you deploy or change the configuration of a server using one of these templates, we will let you know the price of the licensed software before you complete the process. Our licensed subscription software are listed below:

Priority Support Priority phone support is an optional account feature that you can toggle on or off in any month. If selected, you will be provided an 800 number though the CaaS SMB portal that allows you to call the technical support team directly 24x7x365. Rates are the greater of $500 per month or 20% of your monthly usage charges. CaaS SMB Pricing Scenario Let s look at one example of how CaaS SMB is priced. Keep in mind that pricing is based on the amount of memory and the number of virtual CPUs you configure. You can select from several operating system templates or configure a server without an operating system (and upload your own). Pricing will include both required and optional rate elements. STEP 1: Select the required rate elements. The amount of minimum storage required varies based on the operating system you choose. In this example, we will use Window 2008, configuring 4 GB across 2 VPUs over the time period of one month of 30 days (720 hours). Server pricing: $0.194/hour (4 GB on 2 VPUs) x 720 hours = $139.68 System storage: $.00035/GB for the 40 GB = $ 10.08 TOTAL: $149.76 STEP 2: Choose the optional rate elements. For this example, we ll add these optional elements Additional storage, Additional public IP addresses, Verizon Internet Services and Bandwidth Additional storage is priced at $0.25/month per GB. We bill for the peak usage during the month. If you start the month with 40G of storage then deleted 20G then added 80G your peak usage would be 100G. Additional storage: 100 GB @ $0.25/month = $25.00

Each account comes with one public IP address. Additional public IP addresses can be added for $.01/hour per IP address. If we add a second public IP address to our account for a month, the additional cost amounts to $.01 x 720 hours, or $7.20. (There are no additional charges for private IP addresses.) Public IP addresses: $.01 x 720 hours = $7.20 If our sample server needs to be publicly accessible from the Internet, or we need to load balance Internet traffic across multiple servers, we will need to assign that server or servers to a public IP address and specify the appropriate Internet communication protocol (e.g., port 80 for HTML, port 443 for SSL). This optional feature falls under Internet Services at a charge of $0.01/hour. If we add Internet Services to our one-month account, the additional cost amounts to $.01 x 720 hours, or $7.20. Internet services: $.01 x 720 hours = $7.20 Each CaaS SMB account is allowed 1 GB of data transfer (Internet bandwidth) per month at no cost. Additional data transfer is billed at $0.17/GB transferred. (Note: Your bill will be rounded up to the highest gigabyte.) For our scenario, let s say we will transfer 26 GB, at an additional cost of $0.17 x 25 GB, or $4.25. Internet bandwidth: $0.17/GB x 25 GB = $4.25 STEP 3: Finalize your CaaS SMB account pricing. In our sample scenario, the one-month CaaS SMB account total is figured by adding together the required and optional element rates outlined above. Our total pricing for this account would add up like this: Priority Support If you toggle on the priority support option for the first month you would pay $500 for support that month, since $500 is greater than $38.68 (20% of your total above). Let s say that in your second month your usage fees went to $3000. Your priority support would be $600 that month since 20% of your usage fees would be greater than the $500 minimum. However, by month 3 let s say you choose to toggle off priority support you would get support through our ticketing system, and not pay for the optional Priority Support.
