In 2006 Alan left Shell to pursue management and engineering assignments within the Manufacturing, Power and Education sectors. Following a five-year stint in the United Kingdom as Engineering Manager at Shell Haven Refinery, Alan returned to Australia as Engineering Manager and also held a number of regional portfolios including Chairperson South East Asia Asset Reliability Forum. During his career Alan has completed over 25 assignments, in the USA, Canada, Asia, Europe and Australia advising businesses in all areas of Asset Management Excellence for the Energy, Petroleum and Gas sectors. Alan has been utilized as a change agent, coach and facilitator within large organizations developing and implementing Best Practice Asset Management Strategies. He was the foundation chair of the Australian Technical College Geelong and is a Director of several other companies associated with manufacturing in the region.
