Application Aware Image Processing how Veeam backup works 1. Prior to backup the VM is made application consistent (quiesced) using VSS or the hypervisor integration tools. 2. For restore the user sends the enterprise admin the file s unique blob, based on this the enterprise admin generates a restore blob. Data in transit can be encrypted using SSL.
