Getting started with Protection Service for Business This document describes how to install and set up PSB Workstation Security on your computer. Go to the MyApps section. Click the F-Secure Protection Service for Business logo. The main page of the Protection Service for Business portal opens.
The PSB portal home page This is the PSB Portal Home Page. Here you can manage your accounts, add devices, and make sure that your network is protected.
Adding computers You can add new computers to your network in the PSB portal. At first, no computers are registered to your account. Click the adding your computers link. This opens the Computers page, where you can add new computers.
Installing PSB on computers This is the Computers page in the PSB portal, where you can add new computers. Click Add computers. Select a PSB Workstation Security subscription from the Subscription drop-down menu. Enter the email address of the owner of the computer that you want to add. Click Send. NOTE: You can also download the application by clicking the Download software link.
Installing PSB on your Workstation Check that you received the email that you sent in the PSB portal. Read the email thoroughly. Write down your subscription key; you will need it later. Click the Installer link. This downloads the installation package. If any warning messages appear, confirm that you want to continue downloading the file. TIP: Remember to save the file to a folder where you can find it, for example your desktop. NOTE: The text in the email may vary depending on your solution provider.
Installing PSB on Mac computers You have now downloaded the installation package for Mac computers. Browse to the downloaded file and double-click it. Mount the downloaded file, and open the.mpkg file. The Mac installer window appears. Click Continue. TIP: The left area of the installer screen shows you the installation progress.
Installing PSB on Mac computers This is the license agreement for the product. Read the license agreement carefully. Click Agree. Click Continue. TIP: We strongly recommend that you always read the license agreement carefully, especially the sections concerning your privacy. TIP: You can select the language for the license agreement in the dropdown menu.
Installing PSB on Mac computers After accepting the license agreement, you are ready to start installing the product. Click Install to start the installation. You need elevated privileges to install the product. Enter your administrator password. Click Install Software. TIP: If you do not have administrator rights, contact your administrator.

TIP: The information screen shown on the next slide may appear before the installation is complete. If it does, follow the instructions given on the next slide.

Click Set. The subscription is verified immediately.
