Welcome to CA Institute of Languages! Ever since our establishment in 1997, our mission to offer a personalized language education in an intercultural and modern setting has always remained the same. Our goal is to further develop individuals abilities to communicate effectively and to provide above standard, high quality services in a welcoming and friendly environment. High quality to us means individual care for every student or client that walks in through our doors. Our mailing address, parking and accommodation are on Údolní 8, an upscale street in downtown Brno, and our reception, offices, and classrooms are at our on Marešova 12, which is just a few buildings down. We have six classrooms, two of which could be used as large conference rooms, several offices and even accommodation for students coming from abroad! We are fully equipped with the most modern technology available such as glass whiteboards that are interactive, Wi-Fi access suitable for up to 300 students, computers in all classrooms, full HD video projection, Blu-ray players, speakers, surroundsound, amplifiers, printers and copy machines. We also have a traditional and digital library with full access available for all students. CA Institute of Languages are proud to be an accredited member of EAQUALS (Evaluation & Accreditation of Quality in Language Services) and of AJŠ (Association of Language Schools and Agencies in the Czech Republic). We are also certified by the Bureau Veritas. We are partnered with the British Council and we have a 100% success record in assisting students with passing all of the Cambridge exams for English. CA Institute of Languages reputation of excellence has allowed us to become affiliated with some of the largest public and private English language educational programs in the world. Our relationships extend to such noted local institutions like Masaryk University and because of our close partnership; we often use the Faculty of Social Sciences, situated right across the street, as a second location for many of our lectures and seminars. Our institution provides language courses and services in a multitude of languages such as English, Czech, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, Chinese, and Latin. All of our courses designed to suit your needs and they are for all levels and ages,

from infant to adult. We limit class sizes to six so every student can be assured that their student talking time is at a maximum. Some of our most popular courses include: Business English courses, test preparation courses (IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE, YLE, KET, PET, BEC, TOEIC, TOEFL and more...), teacher training (TEFL), corporate courses, business English seminars, preparation for the maturita, conversation courses, Czech for foreigners, weekend intensive courses, and week-long to month-long intensive courses. We also provide private lessons, translations, interpretations, winter and summer city camps, language study abroad, seminars, language audits and much more. CA Institute of Languages has a closely-knit team and some of us have been working together for over 10 years. Our lecturers and professors all have at least a master s degree or higher in their fields together with 10 years experience. Many of us have published leading articles and books related to teaching methodology and EFL. All other members of our staff have at least a university education and experience working in the field of education. We also have an enthusiastic team of interns who are not only students at our institution but also at Masaryk University. 8 F O R K I D S CA KiDS are divided into four groups. The first group, aged 3-6, are called, FRESHMEN (Starters). The second group, aged 7-9, are called, SOPHOMORES (Movers). The third group, aged 10-12, are called JUNIORS (Flyers), and the fourth group, for teens, are called SENIORS (PET). Each group has both a certified Czech teacher and a certified native speaking teacher who have annual first aid training. All groups are composed of a maximum of 6 children. That is to ensure that each child is treated as an individual rather than just a number and that each child receives special attention to help further their development. Price 190 Czech Crowns / 60 minutes (min. 4 students)* * discounts available CA Kids Methodology Children are amazing language learners and the younger they begin learning a second, or even a third language, the easier it is for them to absorb and use that language. The teaching methodology for children is greatly varied and CA Institute of Languages uses a combination of several methods to achieve the best results. Children at varying ages and developmental levels have different language learning needs and require a slightly altered approach, but CA Institute of Languages and its teachers are committed to making our lessons FUN as well as instructive. Camps The English camp is for children aged 3 and up. It runs from 8:30am 12:30pm with an option to stay the full day. This year s theme is to produce a Hollywood film. The kids work on a script, act it out on film in locations around Brno and show it to their parents and adults on Friday in the movie theater at our school! The kids receive a DVD of their film and a certificate of completion of the camp! We know that each student requires something different and that is why we are providing you with many options to choose from. Whether you would like to stay in a hostel or bed and breakfast or have your own private furnished apartment, we can assist you. We have had experience with all of our providers and you can trust that they have all met our requirements. CA Institute Apartments: We have housing for students in the same building where the school is located. There are both single and double rooms, two shared bathrooms, a washing machine, dishes, a refrigerator, a microwave, a stove, an oven, internet, and a view of the castle. The place is fully furnished and a cleaning lady comes once a week.
