De prijs werd vanmiddag uitgereikt op het jaarcongres van Nuffic, de Nederlandse organisatie voor internationale samenwerking in het hoger onderwijs. Met de Orange Carpet Award wil de Nuffic aandacht geven aan bijzondere initiatieven die de internationalisering van het Nederlandse hoger onderwijs bevorderen.
