Molly, San Francisco State University Chevron s Finance Development Program is an accelerated on-the-job program for career-minded individuals with leadership potential. The Program offers a range of challenging real job assignments, varied responsibilities and a working knowledge of our business all at an accelerated pace of approximately 18 months. Additionally, Program members need to be flexible, as assignments can be in vary ing locations, such as the San Francisco Bay Area, Texas, Hawaii and overseas.

The rotational assignments gave me exposure to fastpaced, challenging work environments where I could utilize and enhance my skills and get a broader perspective of Chevron s finance functions. Ana, California State University, East Bay Get your career on the fast track Typically, you re rotated through three job assignments, each lasting approximately six months, so you are exposed to different areas within Chevron. Most assignments are in finance. For example, you may find yourself working in the Corporate Comptroller s department, Corporate Treasury department, International Exploration & Production, Domestic Manufacturing & Marketing or the Finance Shared Services Center, to name a few.
