The Campus Theatre offers: A gorgeous art deco space with Main Theatre seating for 310 (traditional and date seating), Left, right and center Mezzanine with additional seating for 30 (settees, arm chairs, pub tables and stools), Charming theatre lobby with an old-fashioned concession stand, A neon-lit marquee, A retractable screen and stage suitable for live performance. Please choose from these four RENTAL OPTIONS*: 1. Rent the Campus Theatre for a private party and private movie screening. This package is popular for larger groups as well as company parties. Base rental includes: 3.5 hour theatre rental, the movie screening of your choice, one site visit planning meeting, one staff member on site for your event, use of one poster display case, a customized message on the Campus Theatre marquee, and use of our red carpet. (Please refer to Attachment C for further clarification.) 2. Rent the Campus Theatre for a public party and public movie screening. This package is popular for organizations wishing to use the theatre for their own fundraising efforts. Base rental includes: 3.5 hour theatre rental, the movie screening of your choice, one site visit planning meeting, one staff member on site for your event, use of one poster display case, a customized message on the Campus Theatre marquee, use of our red carpet, and Campus Theatre advertising and promotion. (Please refer to Attachment C for further clarification.) 3. Rent the Campus Theatre for a private meeting or party (no film screening). This package is popular for business meetings and speaker forums, and for live music and theatrical performances. Base rental includes: 2.5 hour theatre rental, one site visit planning meeting, one staff member on site for your event, a customized message on the Campus Theatre marquee, and use of our red carpet. 4. Rent the Campus Theatre for a private pre-screen party and reserved seating for a public movie screening. This package is a popular choice for birthday parties and smaller group celebrations. Base rental includes: 1 hour theatre rental, one site visit planning meeting, one staff member on site for your event, a customized message on the Campus Theatre marquee, choice reserved seating for the regularly scheduled movie, plus special discounted rate of $5 movie ticket per person. 5. Rent the Campus Theatre for your wedding. Base rental includes: 2.5 hour theatre rental on the day of your wedding, plus 1 hour rehearsal prior to the wedding, one site visit planning meeting, one staff member on site for your wedding, a customized message on the Campus Theatre marquee, and use of our red carpet. SECURITY DEPOSIT One third of your complete package fee is required at the time of your reservation confirmation. The deposit will be returned in the case of cancellations made at least 14 days in advance, minus a $40 cancellation fee and any costs already incurred by the Campus Theatre. The deposit will be returned in the case of cancellation due to extreme weather. You will be billed for the balance immediately following your event. Complete Rental Fee is due no later than one week after the date of your event. STAFFING One Campus Theatre staff person will be assigned and present during your event. Technical Support staffing and Additional Campus Theatre Staffing are available to Theatre renters for additional fees. (Please refer to the Rental Matrix Pricing Guide for fees.) o Technical Support includes staffing for the operation of Campus Theatre projection, sound, stage or light equipment, and only Campus Theatre staff are allowed to operate Campus Theatre equipment or to enter the projection booth. o Additional Campus Theatre Staffing may include as many staff members as you need for concession operations, mezzanine set up before event & breakdown post event, and trash/recycling removal. Campus Theatre Staffing does not include: Decorating or catering assistance; non-campus Theatre equipment set up, operation or removal; loading and/or unloading renter equipment or materials; non-campus Theatre ticket or merchandise sales. CLEAN UP & TRASH REMOVAL The Campus Theatre must be used as is, or if altered, returned to its original configuration by the renter. Set up and Breakdown service is available to Campus Theatre renters for an additional fee. (Please refer to the Rental Matrix Pricing Guide for fees.) For excessive recycling needs, renter is asked to take their items with them. (Please refer to the Rental Matrix Pricing Guide for fees.) Renters planning events which include outside catering or food service must agree to the additional Clean Up & Trash Removal service fee in addition to their base rental. (Please refer to the Rental Matrix Pricing Guide for fees.) ACCESS Only Campus Theatre staff may enter the projection booth and the concession area and/or operate concession equipment, projection, sound, stage or light equipment. 2

CAPACITY & FURNISHINGS Capacity of the Theatre depends on the activity for which it is used. Main Theatre seating is 310 (front section, 168; back section, 142) Right, Center and Left Mezzanine o Seating provides an additional 30 seats. o For standing-only events, maximum mezzanine capacity is 180 people Lobby capacity is 40 Furniture/equipment available: 14 24x60 standard height folding tables 12 stacking chairs 16 24 round pub tables (height 41 ) 20 bar stools 4 Settees (each seats two comfortably) 2 Arm Chairs Matte white retractable main projection screen (16 x 31 ) Platform screen 69 x 92, with corresponding AV cart. Theatre stage (12 d x 24 l) with decorative valance and main drape. o Additional curtains include black full stage traveler at rear stage brick wall, and mid-stage full black traveler with masking side legs and teaser Dolby Surround Sound (CP650) with Bose Panaray speakers Lapel and hand-held microphones with a variety of stands Podium [Dimensions: 22 w x 17d x 41-48 h (adjustable height)] Ten LS-04072 Listen-Belt packs for hearing impaired Original 35 mm projector Digital projection capabilities [Christie CP2220; 2048x1080 resolution (2k); 14,000 lumens] Denon (DBP-2012UDCIP) DVD and Blu-ray player Tascam CD-200i CD player with ipod dock Multiple input locations to allow for laptop interface with projection equipment Theatrical lighting with preset positions and two follow spots Wireless capabilities throughout theatre Concession Booth: o Old Fashioned Popcorn Machine o Soda Pouring Machine o Ice Maker o Dishwasher o Warming Oven Red carpet 1 Glass poster display case, 27 x 40 Handicap-accessible entry and restroom Parking: metered parking available: free after 5pm and Sundays. Non-permit parking in multiple locations within 1 block of Theatre. 3

FOOD & MERCHANDISE SALES Renter may sell tickets/merchandise/food associated with their event. The sale of outside soda, popcorn or candy is not permitted. Concession sales packages (popcorn, soda & candy) are available upon request. Non-concession food, beverages and cake are permitted, as are outside caterers. The Campus Theatre register(s), credit card and BU swipe card machines may NOT be used for renter s tickets/merchandise/food sales. Renters must provide their own Cambros or chafing dish for heating and maintaining warm food. These warming dishes may not be left unattended. ALCOHOL Alcoholic beverages are permitted for private parties. Renters must provide proof of appropriate liability insurance naming both the Campus Theatre and Bucknell University ($2,000,000 coverage) and sign the attached agreement (see attachment B). Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board Special Occasion Permit Required for organizations wishing to rent the Campus Theatre for their own fundraising purposes, and who will be selling and serving alcohol during their event. This includes events where ticket sales entitle guests to complimentary alcohol. LIABILITY The form and fee must be filed at least 30 days prior to the event. Once you have received the permit, you must notify local police 48 hours in advance of your event. The renter will be held responsible for any damages incurred by any member of their party. RESTRICTIONS The following are prohibited in the space: Tobacco or open flame (with the exception of birthday candles, Cambros or chafing dishes) Attachments to walls, doors or any other surface. Glitter. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION You must be a Campus Theatre member (at any level) to rent the theatre. Members at the Cast & Crew level ($125), or up, receive a 25% discount off the base rental rate. Availability of rental dates and times are subject to change, depending on regularly scheduled Campus Theatre programming. Reduced-rate packages are available for Campus Theatre Members, Bucknell University related activities, nonprofit and community groups, and local independent filmmakers and musicians. The Campus Theatre reserves the right to restrict or refuse any event deemed inappropriate for the space. Rental of the Theatre does not indicate an endorsement of the event or the event sponsor. The Campus Theatre facilities or resources may not be used for religious purposes or by or on behalf of an outside organization or outside individual whose purpose is political, to lobby for an issue or further the cause of a candidate or political party. The Campus Theatre reserves the right to cancel or postpone an event in the event of extreme weather, acts of nature or man-made disaster. 4

Renter has provided proof of appropriate liability insurance: a. $2,000,000 coverage, naming both the Campus Theatre and Bucknell University, copy attached. 2. The average cost is usually $250-$350; exact amount determined at the time of booking the film. If your private event includes a movie being shown: o You may not advertise the movie title publicly in any way. In this case, you will not be responsible for paying the copyright fee. o You may use the movie title on a private invitation. o You must provide the dvd or Blu-ray dvd. o If it is found that you do advertise publicly for a private event, you will be responsible for paying the copyright fee. If your event is a fundraiser, it is recommended that you make it available to the public and pay the copyright fee. In that event, you are entitled to the following publicity* on the part of the Campus Theatre (*provided the rental is scheduled with adequate notice we cannot promise the items marked with * if it is a last-minute rental): o Film title, day & time on the theatre marquee. o Film poster (if available) provided and hung in our poster display case*. o Inclusion in our monthly calendar*. o Listing on our website and posting on facebook. o Inclusion in our weekly email (sent to ~ 1,000 people, locally)*.
