What Are Some Benefits of Weekend College? Full-time students graduate in two to three years with an AA, AS, or AAT degree. Express block classes that feature 3-week and 8-week courses meeting on the weekend. Courses are offered Friday evenings, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons. In learning communities courses, professors team teach and connect the concepts of their disciplines under a common theme or question. You receive credit for each class as if you were taking traditional classes. Be Aware of Early Registration Payment Deadline If payments not received by July 29, you will be dropped from your FALL 2015 courses After deadline, 100% of payment must be accepted by end of the day or classes will be dropped Check your Tuition Charges If Texas resident, tuition charges should not be more than $100 per credit hour Resolve issues of Residency with the Admissions Office Dropping/Swapping Classes Courses dropped prior to the first day of classes will not receive any extra charges
