South Village (SoVi) is specifically for freshmen and offers suite-style living. All suites have private bedrooms and shared bathrooms. North Lake Village offers four-person, apartment-style housing in either two- or four-bedroom configurations. Admissions Florida Gulf Coast University s admission standards are competitive. Admission decisions are based on the projected academic success of students as determined by their grade point average and standardized test scores. Students holding an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from one of Florida s Public Universities or State/ Community Colleges will find transferring to FGCU seamless.
