Xerox econcierge Account Setup Guide The free Xerox econcierge service provides the quickest, easiest way for your customers to order printer supplies for all their supported networked printers from you. Setting up your Xerox econcierge account requires 5 steps: Register for an econcierge 03 powered by Xerox account Apply for an ecommerce Merchant Account 06 and Authorize.net payment gateway Activate your Authorize.net Account 10 Set up your online store 29 Set up a Customer Account 47 for testing and validation

Step 1 Register for an econcierge powered by Xerox account Prep: You ll need your Distributor Account Numbers for Tech Data, SYNNEX, and/or Ingram Micro to complete this step. At least two distributors are required. Open your web browser and type in the following address: http://www.xerox.com/econciergeregister Note: You need to enter your Username and Password for the Xerox Reseller website in order to access the econcierge powered by Xerox webpage. If you haven t yet registered to become a Xerox Reseller, click the > enroll now link. On the econcierge powered by Xerox webpage, click on > Begin registration button. 03 Xerox econcierge Account Setup Guide

Step 1 Register for an econcierge powered by Xerox account On the econcierge powered by Xerox registration webpage, fill in all the required information. Click the continue button. 04 Xerox econcierge Account Setup Guide

Step 1 Register for an econcierge powered by Xerox account On the second econcierge powered by Xerox registration webpage, check the boxes to select at least two distributors and add your Distributor account numbers. Under Terms and Conditions heading, click the terms and conditions link to review them. Click both checkboxes to agree and accept the terms. Click the submit button. Step 2 Apply for an ecommerce Merchant Account and Authorize.net payment gateway Tip: You ll need the following information to complete your application: Federal Tax I.D. and Social Security Number Annual credit card sales ($ estimate) Three times your annual printer hardware sales is a good estimate. Average $ per credit card sale ($1000 is typical.) Maximum $ per credit card sale ($5000 is typical.) Bank account number* ABA/Routing number* *For electronic fund transfers into your account. In the email you received from econcierge Support, click on the link for e-onlinedata. On the Merchant Application webpage, fill in all the required information. Step 2 Apply for an ecommerce Merchant Account and Authorize.net payment gateway The second (and final) webpage of the Merchant Application is shown on the right and the follow page. Note: Under the Value-Adding Services section, only the Fraud Detection Suite Service currently integrates with the Xerox econcierge service. Step 3 Activate your Authorize.net Account On the Payment Form - Fields webpage, you ll need to make a few changes to the default settings. Step 3 Activate your Authorize.net Account On the Fraud Detection Suite webpage, review each of the Transaction Filters listed. You can enable or disable the filters, and set upper and lower limits as needed. Click the Setup Wizard link. It will take you through over a dozen different filter settings with instructions to help you make your selections. When you reach the Fraud Email Notification webpage, enter the email address you want to be notified whenever a transaction falls outside the filter parameters you ve set. You can add more than one email if preferred. Step 4 Set up your online store When you registered to become an econcierge powered by Xerox provider in Step 1, Xerox immediately began working with the Distributors you selected to set up your econcierge powered by Xerox accounts. Twenty-four to 48 hours after you completed your registration, you will receive two emails from econcierge Support. The first email contains your User ID. The second email contains your temporary Password. When both emails have arrived, click the http://www.econciergetools.com link in either email to begin Step 4. On the Login webpage, enter the User ID and temporary Password from the two emails you received from econciege Support. Click the Login button. 29 Xerox econcierge Account Setup Guide

Step 4 Set up your online store On the next webpage, fill in the information required to change your temporary Password and set up your account security question. Click the Continue button. 30 Xerox econcierge Account Setup Guide

Step 4 Set up your online store The Welcome webpage lists key steps the set up wizard will guide you through to create your account. Tip: It s easy to make changes to your store after it s set up, so don t be concerned that everything has to be perfect. Click the Begin Set Up button. 31 Xerox econcierge Account Setup Guide

Step 4 Set up your online store Setting up your online store is an eight-step process. You can track your progress at the top of each webpage. On the Account webpage fill in the required information. Note: If you don t have a Support Website, enter the URL of your company website. Click the Save & Continue button. 32 Xerox econcierge Account Setup Guide

Step 4 Set up your online store On the Design webpage, click the Upload button to browse your computer to locate, select and upload your company logo file Type your Company Display Name exactly the way you d like to see it on your store Select your Store Theme Color. Step 4 Set up your online store On the Set Up Supplies Pricing webpage, select your supplies pricing preference. List Price (MSRP/ESP) is the standard, default selection. List Price (MSRP/ESP) +/-% allows you to vary list price by a standard percentage across all supplies. Note: If you require any custom pricing, you can upload a spreadsheet from your Xerox econcierge Partner Portal, after your initial online store setup is complete. Step 4 Set up your online store On the Distributors webpage, set up the priority order of your distributors. Note: Your first priority Distributor choice is effective for a full year and cannot be changed, so choose carefully. Click the Save & Continue button. 36 Xerox econcierge Account Setup Guide

Step 4 Set up your online store On the Payment webpage, select your Payment Gateway (Authorize.net) and fill in the API Login ID and Transaction Key you made note of when you set up your payment gateway account (see page 22). Step 4 Set up your online store You can manage, monitor and make updates to your online supplies store from your Xerox econcierge Partner Portal. Click the Dashboard tab for a store overview, charts and graphs, and links to update resources. 41 Xerox econcierge Account Setup Guide

Step 4 Set up your online store Click the Customers tab to review revenue and manage or add customers. To add a new customer, click on the Add Customer button and follow the onscreen instructions. Step 4 Set up your online store Click the Preferences tab to review or edit selections you made earlier using the Set Up Wizard. Click on the Users link in the left column to set up user accounts and set permissions for other people in your company to access and manage your Partner Portal. Step 5 Set up a Customer Account for testing and validation Prep: If your internet connection requires a proxy, you ll need the proxy server s name and port number. You ll also need a valid credit card to place an order. Minimum computer specifications: Microsoft Windows XP (Home or Professional), Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS 10.5 or greater. Network Transmission Control Protocol (TCP/IP) active. User Datagram Protocol (UDP) active. Browser: Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox 3.6 on XP or Vista; Internet Explorer 8 or Firefox 3.6 on Windows 7; Safari 5.0.1 on Mac OS 10.5 or greater. 120MB RAM (70MB application, 50MB for monitoring service) Use the URL from your Partner Portal (highlighted on the previous page) to navigate to your company s branded customer Account Registration webpage. Use this step to test and validate a real transaction plus it s a great way to experience the service from a customer s perspective. Step 5 Set up a Customer Account for testing and validation When a customer reaches the final Account Registration webpage, two emails are generated from econcierge Support. One email goes to you, notifying you that you have a new Xerox econcierge customer. Step 5 Set up a Customer Account for testing and validation On the final Account Registration webpage, select the appropriate operating system of your computer from the drop down menu. Click the Download button to begin installation of the Supplies Assistant desktop application. An Install window will open with a progress bar. 50 Xerox econcierge Account Setup Guide

Step 5 Set up a Customer Account for testing and validation When an order is placed two order confirmation emails are generated from econcierge Support: one to you and one to the customer. The customer will receive an additional email with a tracking number, when their order ships. You can check the order status of a customer s order anytime through your Partner Portal. To complete the validation process, allow 24 to 48 hours after your order ships to verify the purchase has been correctly credited to your bank account. When you receive your order, Step 5 is complete. Congratulations, you re ready to begin adding customers and building your recurring revenue stream.
