General Purpose of Position: Under general direction, conceptualizes, designs, constructs, tests, implements, and documents basic industrial control and/or information systems that meet requirements and team standards. Most of the engineer s time is spent developing technical skills. The remaining time is spent developing an advanced understanding of project management principles and tools, continuing to build a foundation for commercial skills, and an introduction to mentoring skills.
