Membership and Categories The FlySmiLes Programme of SriLankan Airlines is designed to give loyal customers like you access to a world of exclusive benefits and privileges, so that your travel will be more rewarding and delightful. FlySmiLes Membership Categories FlySmiLes offers Categories of Membership - Blue, Silver, Classic, Gold and Platinum. Members who reach Classic status can opt for the Baggage Bonus Programme. FlySmiles Club - oneworld Membership Categories FlySmiles oneworld (top tier) membership categories are Platinum, Gold and Classic. The Baggage Bonus Programme has two Membership Categories - Baggage Plus and Baggage Premier. Young Smiles is designed for members between two to eighteen years and consists of only one tier category. Each Membership Category offers exclusive privileges. So the higher your Membership status, the more privileges you would be able to enjoy with Sri Lankan and oneworld Airlines. Signature on the Membership Cards Please sign in the signature box of the Membership Card before you use it. 4

All About Miles The FlySmiLes Programme has two types of miles; - FlySmiLes Miles : for earning Rewards. - Tier Miles : for progressing through Membership Categories The Difference between FlySmiLes Miles and Tier Miles FlySmiLes Miles FlySmiLes Miles are your Reward currency and are earned every time you fly with SriLankan, oneworld airlines, affiliates and FlySmiles partner airlines. Miles can also be earned whenever you spend with any of FlySmiLes non-airline affiliates, such as dining, shopping, banking, and communications partners. Eg:- BA Executive Club member can accrue miles on UL % miles that will be accrued by other airlines on UL and UL on other airlines will be different FlySmiles Miles will expire after a period of three years and every 30 th June and 31 st December. Tier Miles Tier Miles determining your tier status are earned every time you fly with SriLankan Airlines or any flight marketed or operated by any oneworld member airline. While your Redemption Miles can be redeemed for Rewards, Tier Miles help you to Progress through the membership tiers to Classic, Gold and Platinum. FFP members of oneworld airlines and affiliates can earn tier miles on any oneworld airline or affiliate. Eg:- BA Executive Club member can accrue Redemption miles and Tier miles on UL % miles that will be accrued by other airlines on UL and UL on other airlines will be different Tier miles are accumulated from the date of enrolment. Your tier status will be calculated for the past 12 months and will be valid for the next 12 months from the date the Tier change has been effected. Tier progression A member who earns 20,000 tier miles or 20 sectors in any consecutive 12 months period will be upgraded to the Classic Tier. For example, if you earn FlySmiles Classic status in June 2014, it be valid until July 2015. 5

A Classic member who earns 40,000 tier miles and 40 sectors within consecutive 12 months or less will be upgraded to the Gold Tier. A Gold member who earns 60,000 tier miles and 60 sectors within the past consecutive 12 months or less will be upgraded to the Platinum Tier and will be valid for the next 12 months Earning FlySmiLes Miles FlySmiLes Miles you earn will depend on the booking class and distance of your travel. Miles earned on booking will be as follows **Each airline will decide the % that they offer for each fare. FlySmiLes Miles by Class of Travel Class of Service / Fare Type Booking Subclass (RBD) FS on UL FS miles on UL % J 200% Business C,D 175% I 150% Y, B, P, H 125% Economy K, W, M, E, L, R, V, S, N, Q 100% O, G 50% Permanent Membership In order to obtain the permanent card a member should fly 02 sectors on Economy class or 01 sector on Business class on SriLankan. # A sector is any part of a flight for which a separate flight coupon has been issued. For instance, a direct flight from London to Colombo on SriLankan would be one sector, while a flight from London to Chennai via Colombo would be two sectors. 6

Keeping track of Miles As an active member, you will receive a quarterly statement recording all the Miles you have earned and redeemed, enabling you to see how close you are to maintaining your current status or ascending to a higher tier. You can also check your mileage balance from anywhere and at any time using www.flysmiles.com. All you need is your membership number and password. Missing Miles and retro credits Now you can retro claim all the Miles not credited on SriLankan flights or missing transactions by, simply sending your original boarding card and a copy of your ticket coupon or invoice from our partner organization to the FlySmiLes Service Centre within six months of the transaction. And always remember to keep a copy of the original documents for your reference. Please allow up to two weeks for credits to be updated in your account. Also you may send your request through our web site now. Moving Up the Membership Tier The following chart illustrates the tier miles and sectors required to qualify and maintain FlySmiLes Tier statuses. The tier will be reviewed at the 12 th month which the card will be valid for one more extra month. If the member has fulfilled the retention criteria he will be permitted to continue in the same tier for an additional 13 months. If he falls short, the tier will be downgraded to the next level. If he has earned the required miles for the next tier the tier status will be upgraded for another 13 months. 8

Top tier recognition Transfer Assistance On arrival Assistance You can redeem your FlySmiLes Miles which you have earned on Sri Lankan, oneworld Airlines and its affiliates and FlySmiles Partner Airlines, for Reward tickets and Reward upgrades.(t & C applies) FlySmiLes will enable its top tier frequent flyer members and oneworld top tier members to enjoy a consistent set of recognition benefits on all UL and oneworld flights as per the defined eligibility. 1 Free Travel Awards Applicable for Economy Class and Business Class awards for FlySmiLes members and nominees 2 On board shopping Redeem FlySmiLes miles for duty free vouchers for purchases onboard SriLankan Airlines 3 Excess baggage Allowance Redeem a minimum of 10kg extra baggage on SriLankan Airlines flights. Miles required for extra baggage will depend on destination of travel.. 7 Complimentary lounge Access FlySmiLes members and 1 guest will receive complimentary Business class lounge access regardless of class of travel when travelling on a flight both marketed and operated by oneworld member airline or affiliate. FlySmiLes Silver members will be entitled to use the Palm Strip Lounge when travelling on a SriLankan Airlines flight. 8 Priority preferred seating Preferred seating is offered at the time of reservation on SriLankan Airlines. This service can be availed at any SriLankan Airlines ticket office, FlySmiLes Service Centre or via the SriLankan Airlines website 9 Priority Airport standby Priority on waitlist will be extended to member on fully booked flights as per the SriLankan Airlines passenger acceptance policy. 10 Priority Boarding FlySmiles Platinum and Gold members will be provided with priority boarding or will be invited to board at their leisure on all SriLankan Airlines flights or when travelling on flights marketed and operated by a oneworld member airline of affiliate. 11 Transfer Support Transfer assistance will be provided for flights into Category A airports on all flights in excess of 5 hours (when travelling on flights marketed and operated by a oneworld member airline of affiliate. Baggage handling 14 Complimentary excess luggage allowances FlySmiLes Platinum and oneworld Emerald members will be entitled to an additional 20kgs or 1 piece weighing up to 23kgs ( where piece concept is applicable) when traveling on flights marketed and operated by a oneworld member airlines or affiliate. FlySmiLes Gold and oneworld Sapphire members will be entitled to an additional 15kgs or 1 piece weighing up to 23kgs ( where piece concept is applicable) when traveling on flights marketed and operated by a oneworld member airlines or affiliate. FlySmiLes Silver and classic members will be entitled to complimentary excess luggage allowances specified, ONLY on flights operated by SriLankan Airlines 11

15 Piece policy for travel to/from Area 1 FlySmiLes Club Platinum and oneworld Emerald members will be entitled to an additional 20kgs on any UL or oneworld member airline flight and to 3 pieces of baggage for travel to / from Area 1.(South and North America) 16 Guaranteed seat in economy class A guaranteed seat in Economy class will be provided (in applicable RBD) on fully booked flights, anytime up to 48 hrs prior to departure for a Platinum member, and 72 hrs prior to departure of the flight for a Gold members. This is only valid for flights on SriLankan Airlines. 17 Priority on wait listing Your FlySmiLes membership gives you priority on the waitlist of fully booked flights. 18 Over draft facility Platinum, Gold and Silver members redeeming miles for tickets and upgrades who shortfall of the required miles will be permitted an overdraft facility of 5000 and 3000 miles respectively. Miles earned subsequently by the member will be set off the overdrawn amount. 19 Tier Bonus FlySmiLes Gold members can earn an additional 15% FlySmiLes Miles as tier bonus, and FlySmiLes Platinum Members an additional 25% as bonus on flights marketed and operated by SriLankan Airlines, which are eligible for earning FlySmiLes Miles. 20 Dedicated contact center To facilitate your enquiries from around the globe please contact our FlySmiLes Service Centre on + 94 (0) 19733 3333 or email flysmiles@srilankan.com Disruption notification before departure When a flight disruption occurs, top tier members as defined in the order of priority for customer handling will be used to notify the flight disruption. Top tier recognition Flight Attendants will provide oneworld top tier recognition to Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby Interline customers Transfer Assistance Personal briefing to Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby members who are connecting on to another o WL flight and who are seated in Business class cabin and wherever possible Emerald members seated in Economy cabin. On arrival assistance Customer Service staff meeting the disembarking customers in excess of 5 hour connections will provide transferring oneworld customers with information to assist with their transfer, and other oneworld queries as required. Date Change Penalty Date change penalty applies as per below chart 13

(A valid ticket, boarding card for the onward or previous long-haul international flight must be shown for lounge access) Lounge access rules applicable to First/Business class travel on the international long-haul flight apply regardless of the ticketed class of travel on the international short haul or domestic flight. FlySmiLes Silver Member travelling in Business Class on a Medium Haul or a Short Haul sector will be entitled to Serendiva Lounge. 10. FlySmiLes Silver Member travelling in Economy Class will be entitled to Palmstrip Lounge. 11. FlySmiLes Baggage Premier Member travelling in Business Class on a Long Haul or a Medium Long Haul sector will be entitled to Serendib Lounge. 12. FlySmiLes Baggage Premier Member travelling in Business Class on a Medium Haul or a Short Haul sector will be entitled to Serendiva Lounge. 13. YoungSmiLes member travelling in Business class will be entitled to lounge access based on eligibility as outlined above. General Terms Access will be granted on the day of travel (or before 6 a.m the following day) at the airport from which the oneworld flight on which the eligible customer is travelling departs. The oneworld flight is a flight both marketed and operated by a oneworld member airline or affiliated carriers. All oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members, and eligible First class customers, are entitled to be accompanied by one guest. Guests must be accompanied by the eligible member and must be travelling on a oneworld flight, although it does not have to be the same flight as the eligible member. Eligible FFP top tier members / oneworld passengers must show a valid ticket, boarding card or FFP membership card for a departure on that day on UL or any other oneworld flight for lounge access. Check-in and boarding pass issuance to oneworld customers will be facilitated at the lounge (in CMB) if required. All oneworld passengers who are upgraded to Business class will be provided with lounge access. Customers travelling in a premium cabin (First / Business class) on a oneworld International long haul flight, connecting to/from a oneworld International short haul or domestic flight, shall be eligible for lounge access at all departure points. Child/Infant Lounge Access Child Age 2 11 Travelling as an eligible customer for Lounge access Eligible only when travelling with an accompanying adult. If the adult is not eligible for lounge, the child can count the adult as the guest. Travelling with an eligible adult for Lounge access Eligible, but must be counted as the guest of the adult who is eligible for lounge. Age 12-17 (12-19 in Japan) Travelling as an eligible customer for Lounge access Eligible without an accompanying adult, as long as permitted by local licensing laws. Reward Flights can be taken as a return or one way trip on Sri Lankan, oneworld member airlines affiliates and FlySmiLes Partner airlines 2. All Rewards shown in the Reward charts are for Adults and children and use the most direct routing to a destination via Colombo. Any other routing will require combining two or more Rewards in order to fulfill redemption request. 3. You are allowed a total of one stop-over on any return trip, plus point of turn around within the same Zone. Please check at time of booking. 4. Return tickets can be issued on any oneworld Airlines and its affiliates. 5. A separate reward chart will be applicable for oneworld airlines and its affiliates 6. Reward tickets can be utilized to travel to a particular city and return from another, provided the cities are within the same zone 7. Reward ticket coupons cannot be used out of sequence. 8. A reward may be given to anyone you nominate with the applicable fee. 9. When request a Reward, you will be required to c a Reward Nomination Form and supply a copy of your passport. 10. Reward flights must be booked and ticketed at least seven days prior to departure. Once flights are ticketed, only date changes within ticket validity are allowed, subject to availability. if the new date is within 7 days of the revised travel date a service charge will apply. (pls ref penlty chart) This service fee is not valid for Platinum and Baggage Premier members and for any member holding a business class ticket. Applicable taxes will be charged at the time of ticketing on all rewards tickets. 11. Rush reward penalties applies. Pls refer penalty chart. 30

12. Wait listing is not available for reward itineraries. 13. Reward tickets are re-routable to another zone at a service fee of USD50 plus the applicable miles. 14. All applicable taxes and other charges should be collected separately and cannot be paid by reward miles. 15. When cancelling a Reward ticket the member will have to pay a service fee of 50USD. For an expired Reward ticket a member will receive a refund of taxes only. Service fee will not be charged for cancelling reward upgrade tickets. Tax refund on Reward tickets can only be claimed from the issuing city 16. When cancelling a Reward ticket, Expired miles will not be re credited. 17. Once travel has commenced on a Reward ticket, the Reward is considered as utilized. 18. Reward tickets are valid for 01 year from the date of issue. 19. Redemption tickets issued on economy class cannot be upgraded by using miles. 20. Infant Reward tickets will only be issued along with the accompanying passenger/parent. 21. One way tickets can be issued online only at www.srilankan.com 22. There is no Service charge applicable for online redemptions. 23. For any refunds member will have to contact the local SriLankan Airlines ticket office. 24. No re routings/date changes can be done online. Reward Upgrades 1. A revenue ticket MUST be purchased prior to an upgrade being processed. 2. FlySmiLes Service Centre will process FlySmiLes upgrades for confirmed economy class bookings for same day same flight upgrades only. 3. Upgrades on UL should be requested 48 hours prior to departure 4. Infants can also be upgraded to a higher cabin class if holding a revenue ticket. When an upgrade is required for an infant, it is mandatory to process this along with the upgrade requests of the adult accompanying passenger/parent. Infant upgrades cannot be processed separately 5. Date changes on Reward upgrade can be done without a service charge. (As per clause 1) any additional payment applicable on the economy ticket will have to be paid prior to upgrade. 6. Upgrades are valid for one way or return journeys. 7. If an upgrade is not utilized it can be re-credited in to the members account without a service charge. Only the non-expired miles will be re credited 8. Upgrades will be done only on a Sri Lankan Airlines document (603) 32

Terms and Conditions of FlySmiLes A. Membership of FlySmiLes 1. Application for Membership of FlySmiLes is open to any person who is eighteen years of age and above. 2. This programme is not valid for enrolment or redemption wherever any similar programmes are prohibited by Law 3. Membership is not transferable. 4. Membership commences when SriLankan Airlines accepts the application for Membership and a membership account is created by SriLankan Airlines. 5. SriLankan Airlines reserves the right to reject any application for Membership acting, on its own discretion. If SriLankan does so, then any privileges that any applicant may have earned or accrued by a temporary card shall be null and void. 6. There is no fee for Membership as at present. SriLankan Airlines reserves the right to charge a fee in future. 7. Members will receive a permanent FlySmiLes Membership Card only on completion of two economy class sectors or one business class sector within a twelve month period from the date of a first flight. Until such time, Members shall use the temporary paper card issued. The permanent FlySmiLes Membership Card must be signed by the Member, without which it cannot be used. The FlySmiLes Membership Card is not a credit or debit card. By signing on the FlySmiLes Membership Card, a Member is deemed to have agreed to abide by the Terms and Conditions of Membership of FlySmiLes. 8. For online activation enrolment forms, member is required to activate profile/membership details on line at www.flysmiles.com. 9. All FlySmiLes Membership Cards remain the property of SriLankan Airlines, and must be returned to SriLankan Airlines by the Member if: (a) the expiry date of the card is exceeded, if such a date is indicated on the card; (b) SriLankan Airlines, acting in its discretion, requests the Member to return the card. 10. If a FlySmiLes Membership Card is lost, it must be reported immediately to the FlySmiLes Service Centre, or to the nearest SriLankan Airlines office. The replacement card will be subject to a fee.. 11. If a Member wishes to change personal details given to FlySmiLes, then the Member must immediately inform such requested change to FlySmiLes. SriLankan Airlines, acting in its discretion, may allow such change. A request for a name change requires proof of name change satisfactory to SriLankan Airlines. 12. Accounts with incomplete or missing data will be considered as pending and SriLankan 33

Airlines may delete such accounts. 13. SriLankan Airlines reserves its right to exclude any Member from further participation in FlySmiLes and/or any Membership in FlySmiLes (if such is available), or any associated programme of FlySmiLes to be launched in the future and revoke any or all accruals including Miles by the Member at any time without giving any notice or reason. In such an event, all accruals including Miles shall be forfeited without entitlement to compensation. The Member may also be held liable for all damages, costs legal fees incurred by SriLankan Airlines, as the case may be. 14. Any Member may cancel the Membership at any time by submitting the appropriate written notification, at which time any outstanding Miles, benefits and privileges will stand as cancelled. 15. A FlySmiLes Membership Card is valid for a period of 13 months from the date of the Tier change. 16. All taxes, duties and other liabilities arising from the earning of Miles or any other accruals or their redemption and will always be the sole responsibility of Member and must be paid by the Member in advance of any redemption. Such payment shall be in cash. 17. Membership is automatically terminated on the death or bankruptcy of a Member. Miles earned prior to termination in these circumstances will be immediately cancelled. However, FlySmiLes may, at its own discretion, reinstate Miles in favor of the heirs of the deceased Member upon the application of his or her personal representative subject to producing valid documents to establish the entitlement of heirs to receive Miles. B. FlySmiLes Miles 1. Members are eligible to accrue miles for travel in defined booking classes in flights that are operated by SriLankan Airlines and oneworld member Airlines and affiliates. In addition to the applicability of terms and conditions of FlySmiles, the terms and conditions of the frequent flyer programmes of oneworld Airlines and affiliates shall apply to the accrual of miles for travel in oneworld member Airlines and affiliates In addition to above Members are eligible to accrue Miles on FlySmiles Partner airline and non-air partners using the qualifying services of Service Partners, on or after the Member s enrolment date. 2. Miles will be earned for airline tickets as follows: a) Miles are awarded by FlySmiLes for airline tickets purchased in Business and Economy Class in SriLankan Airlines, oneworld Member Airlines and affiliate and upon utilization of such tickets by a Member. If only a part of the Ticket is utilized, then the Member is awarded Miles only in respect of the part utilized. b) No Miles will be earned for industry discount, agency discount, free or Reward tickets, infant fares and other special discount tickets as specified by SriLankan Airlines, oneworld Member Airlines and affiliate or Airline Service Partners from time to time,. c) SriLankan Airlines may at its discretion not permit earning of Miles for tickets booked in certain booking classes of SriLankan Airlines. If an itinerary has any sectors that are booked 34

in one of such classes, those flight sectors will be deemed ineligible for accrual of Miles. d) No Miles will be earned for tickets booked on charter flights of SriLankan Airlines or Airline Partners may also exclude mileage accrual on certain flights and classes. e) Regardless of the number of seats purchased by a Member, Miles can only be earned only once per flight for each Member who utilizes the flight. f) FlySmiLes Club Members can earn miles on SriLankan Airlines, oneworld airlines, affiliates and FlySmiLes partner airlines. Miles can also be earned whenever you spend with any of FlySmiLes nonairline affiliates, such as dining, shopping, banking, and communications partners or by converting loyalty/reward points at select FlySmiLes partners in Sri Lanka. g) Miles you earn will depend on the booking class and distance of your travel. Miles for non-flight transactions are earned as follows: a) Miles awarded for non-flight transactions will be as specified within the Service Partner category. b) Members earn Miles on participating credit and charge cards based on the value of valid, eligible purchases made on the card. The type of credit/charge card held by the Member may have bearing on the Member's status within FlySmiLes and does not entitle the Member to any benefits that are attached to other Membership Categories of FlySmiLes Programme, as per this Members Guide, 4. All Miles are earned to a personal account (for which the Membership Number is given) for each respective Member. 5. Miles do not have a real cash value and FlySmiLes will not exchange Miles for cash under any circumstances. 6. Members must state their FlySmiLes Membership number at the time of reservation and present their signed FlySmiLes Membership Card when they use the services of SriLankan Airlines, partner airlines, oneworld airlines or its affiliates, selected FlySmiLes Service Partners, in order to ensure that the Miles they earn are credited to their account. If the Miles credited are incorrectly, Members should inform FlySmiLes within six (06) months of travel. 7. Only certain specified transactions (as listed in the FlySmiLes Members Guide) will be deemed eligible for mileage accrual. These are listed in the FlySmiLes website under Individual Service Partners' Terms and Conditions. Programme specific rules may also apply in addition to the above. 8. Regardless of who pays for the ticket or the transaction, Miles can only be earned for flight and non-flight transactions carried out by an individual FlySmiLes Member. Members must 35

travel or use the products and services offered by the Service Partners to receive Miles. For unused tickets, unconsumed products or returned products and services, no Miles will be received by the Member. 9. If any Service Partner disallows certain categories of their Members from transferring Points (or Miles as the case may be) earned in their programme to the Member's Account, then no such transfer is possible. 10. Miles are awarded at the discretion of SriLankan Airlines, oneworld Airlines or affiliates. SriLankan Airlines reserves the right not to award Miles on flights where any SriLankan Airlines flight coupon utilisation in the ticket does not comply with the General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage of SriLankan Airlines, or where the Member (or Nominee as the case may be) has violated the Law. The accrual of Miles by the Members for travelling in oneworld Airlines and affiliates shall be subject to terms and conditions of the frequent flyer programmes of the respective oneworld Airlines and affiliates. 11. First Flight Bonus - Members, who complete a flight activity within six months of enrolment to FlySmiLes, will qualify for First Flight Bonus miles. Members who complete their first flight on Business Class will be eligible for an additional 5000 FlySmiLes miles and members who complete their first flight on Economy Class will be eligible for an additional 3000 Bonus Miles. Members who have undertaken a travel activity up to two months prior to enrolment will also qualify for the First Flight Bonus. 12. Members may use Miles, as soon as those Miles have been credited to Members' Membership Accounts. 13. Miles may be pooled provided there is a minimum of 2000 Miles in each Membership Account. Miles can be transferred to any Member at a cost. Please refer service charges and penalties. 14. SriLankan Airlines reserves the right to cancel Membership Account and all Miles in the Membership Account, if it is found to be used by Other than the Member in violation of the terms and conditions of FlySmiles. 15. Unless otherwise specified, Members are only eligible for Miles with one frequent flyer programme for each flight or transaction. If a Member attempts to earn Miles (or whatever credits) with more than one programme for the same flight or transaction, the Miles, (or whatever credits) awarded for the flight or transaction on FlySmiLes will be forfeited. 16. In the event Miles do not appear in a Member's Account, the Member may request that the Miles be retroactively credited to his/her Account up to six months following the flight or transaction concerned. This is done by forwarding a request letter or email giving travel details/ transaction details, along with a copy of the invoice. Member may with the updated statement through www.flysmiles.com 17. Members should check with the respective Service Partner's office, with regard to enquiries for Miles transferred from a Service Partner's programme to FlySmiLes, where the original 36
