You now have a card that s linked to the Frequent Flyer program of Virgin Australia, which earns Velocity Points 1 on your everyday spend. Your money becomes a lot easier to manage with only one account to look out for and it could also save you on interest charges. It will help you spend less time at the register and give you the freedom to do the things that matter most to you. For transactions under $100, just wave your Visa paywave-enabled card in front of a Visa paywave reader and go. There s no need to enter your PIN. Using PIN for in store purchases is now mandatory in Australia and other parts of the globe. If you d like to change your ATM PIN, you can do it by logging into your online account and selecting My Profile from the Services menu option. If you have additional cardholders they ll need to set up their own Virgin Money Online account. To do this we need to have their mobile number on file, so give our Customer Care Team a call on Once their mobile number is listed, they can then go ahead and set up their online account using their card details and then change their ATM PIN.

7 Visa paywave-enabled cards are backed by Visa s Zero Liability Policy 3 and are as secure as any other Visa chip card. They carry the same multiple layers of security, which ensures that you are not responsible for fraudulent or unauthorised transactions. Visa paywave cards only work when the card is within 4cm of the card reader and the paywave terminal can only process one transaction at a time. Because your Visa paywave card doesn t leave your hand during the transaction, you remain in control of your card at all times. Use your PIN for all other purchases at the terminal. Your four-digit PIN is used as proof of identity when making over-the-counter transactions at selected merchants. It is designed to make things quick and easy at point of sale and is generally a more secure transaction process. 10 4. Payments made easy. There s a choice of convenient ways to pay your Virgin Australia Velocity Flyer Card bill. Have a look at the options below and see which one works for you. It s easy to pay with BPAY. Our biller code is and your credit card number is your customer reference number. Don t give it a second thought with Direct Debit Auto Pay. Set up automatic payments from other accounts straight into your Virgin Australia Velocity Flyer Card and your account will be taken care of each month. Choose from a: full monthly payment plan to pay off the balance each month. minimum payment to pay off the minimum payment required. 11 Pop it in the post. When your statement arrives send the payment slip back to us with your cheque or money order. To make sure things run smoothly: make the cheque out to your card type and card number, for example Virgin Australia Velocity Flyer Card account number. always write your card number on the back. remember to include the cents (so $ not $200). make sure you post it in enough time to reach us before the due date. Make a payment at Australia Post. You can make your payments at any Australia Post office displaying the Bank@Post symbol using cash, cheque or EFTPOS. It s important to remember to take your Credit Card with you to make the payment. When paying by cheque at any Australia Post office, please allow seven business days for the cheque to clear. However, your payment will be considered received the day the cheque is deposited. Fees apply.

12 5. Managing your account is easy. Virgin Money Online is your personal online account where you can view your transactions, print your statements, set up automated payments, pay bills, change your PIN and more. In just a few clicks you ll be online and in control of your Virgin Money Credit Card Account. Setting up your Virgin Money Online account is easy, once you ve received your card, have your mobile phone handy and go to my.virginmoney.com.au and click on the First time here? REGISTER button. Then click on the Credit Card Icon and follow the steps, complete the required information then enter a One Time PIN which we ll send to the mobile number you advised us during your application. You ll be up and running in minutes. If you need to change your mobile number please call our Customer Care Team on and they ll assist you, it s important to know that should you wish to change your mobile number during the set up process you will not be able to set up your online account for 3 days as we do impose a security freeze to the account. Your monthly Statements. If you ve requested to receive estatements we ll you your monthly statement in the form of an encrypted PDF attachment, you ll be required to enter a password to view your statement. A copy of

13 the statement will also be stored within your online account for up to 2 years. Your statement will include all the information you need to know for the last month of activity, such as your account balance and the minimum amount due. It s also best if you have the latest version of Adobe Reader in order to view your statements within Virgin Money Online.If you ve asked for paper Statements, you can always switch to estatements in your online account by clicking on Services, then head to My Profile and select estatements. What you can do online anytime, from anywhere. View and print your statements from the last 24 months. Pay your bills using your credit card through BPAY. Change your ATM PIN or update your contact Odetails Export your transactions to accounting software like Quicken, MS Money or Excel. Change your password (we recommend you do this regularly, to keep things as secure as possible). And much more. Log out safely. Every time you re finished using Virgin Money Online, it s important you log out by clicking the log out button on the screen. It s the safest way of finishing your session. Don t have access to a computer? Not to worry, you can still manage your money with our 24-hour Telephone Self-Service line, anytime of the day or night. You can check your balance, pay your bills or make a credit card payment and more, all from the comfort of, well, anywhere you like really. All you need is a phone (and good coverage if you re using your mobile) and call

14 6. Looking after your card. Automatic Payments. Spend less time paying your bills and more time doing things you really want to be doing. With Automatic Payments arrange your bills to be automatically debited from your credit card, earning you even more Velocity Points. Setting up your automatic payments is easy. For bills you d like paid from your credit card, contact the companies and provide them with your account number and every payment that occurs will be clearly itemised on your statement. The last thing you need is for your card to fall into the wrong hands or to disappear, so here s a few do s and don ts that will help you keep your card safe. Do s. Sign your card as soon as you get it. Always keep your card in a safe place. When your card expires, you will be sent a new one. Sign it straight away and then call to activate it. Destroy your old card, cut it into pieces and dispose of them securely and responsibly. If you re waiting for a new card and it hasn t arrived within the expected time, let us know. Keep an eye on merchants when they re using your card. Keep all your phone numbers up to date so we can contact you if we notice unusual account activity.

15 Be wary of merchants who swipe your card a few times. Make sure you check the transaction amount before you authorise with a PIN. When you use your card online, only ever use secure internet sites. Always tear up your credit card receipts before throwing them in the bin. Let us know of your travel itinerary to eliminate concerns about card activity occurring in exotic locations. Don ts. Don t let anyone else know your PIN or Virgin Money Online log in details. Don t lend your card to anyone, including friends. Don t let merchants take your card out of your sight. Travelling If you re planning a holiday or heading off on a business trip, it s important to let us know your plans so we can be aware of any unusual activity on your card. It s also a good idea to make sure we have your correct contact details in case we need to contact you to verify it s you that s making the transaction.

16 Missing your card? Don t panic. If you notice that your card has gone missing, there s no need to panic, simply let us know immediately. If you re in Australia call us on , or if you re outside of Australia. We ll cancel your card so nobody else can use it, and we ll get a new card to you as soon as physically possible. A transaction that doesn t look familiar. If you don t recognise a transaction on your statement, or it s incorrect in any way, let us know immediately by calling We d like to help you if there s a problem but there are strict timelines and conditions that need to be met so it s important that you call us immediately.
